Silver-Hope Dance Academy We offer quality dance instruction with skilled instructors in many dance styles including hip hop, acro, jazz, ballet, tap and more.

Kids ages 2.5-17 and sometimes Adults. Our studio was built with a Vision of giving local dancers the opportunity to receive high quality instruction close to home and offering programs that enable them to grow as dancers and people. We bring certified instructors to our studio to deliver high calibre instruction and comprehensive dance/fitness to our community. It is important to us that we creat

e a place where our students can learn, grow, connect, have fun, and be supported as people. We continue to explore ways to serve the dance/fitness needs of our community.

Thanks so much to everyone who supported our "Deck the Hall" Bottle Drive on Saturday!! From community donations, collections, and drop offs, to drivers, sorters, and timbit providers. Special mentions to Hair Trendz, who kindly donated disposable gloves and the kind lady who gave us $4.30 of her earnings from the empties she brought in while we were there!

We'll be putting this toward the new curtains. Stay tuned for other fundraising activities to help us in our efforts to refresh the studio/gym space at the United Church Hall! ❤️

Please save your bottles and cans and ask your family members and friends to do the same.

We're raising funds to DECK THE United Church HALL where our Hope dance classes are held. They have been so good to us over the years and we want to give back!

Date & Time: Saturday, January 25 11:00am - 1:00pm

Advance Drop Off at the Bottle Depot (517A Corbett St.): Friday, January 24 between 9:00am and 3:00pm

If anyone wants a pick-up rather than dropping off, please provide addresses in advance so we can plan for it.

Ideally, we'd like to raise enough money to buy black privacy curtains for the storage area and give the interior a fresh coat of paint.

We would appreciate your support to make this a success and Deck the Hall for everyone to enjoy!

Our Story

Crystal Alexander – Studio Director Richardson Family - Studio Owners Crystal and her mom, Juanita, started Silver-Hope Dance Academy in October 2015 as a way to combine Crystal’s passion for dance and her community. The studio was built with a Vision of providing local dancers an opportunity to get high quality instruction close to home and offering programs that would enable them to grow as dancers and people, whether competitive or recreational.

In July 2018, the Richardson family assumed ownership of the studio. We are pleased that Crystal agreed to stay on as Studio Director (in fact, we wouldn’t have done it without her). She has a long history in dance. Crystal danced for many years, including competitively, as a child and brings a wealth of knowledge and heart to her role as our Studio Director.

We are committed to continuing to offer high calibre instruction and comprehensive dance/fitness programs to our community. It is also important to us that we continue to create a place where our students can learn, grow, connect, and be supported as people.

In September 2018, we added classes for adults. We continue to explore ways to serve the dance/fitness needs of our community members.
