Just wanted to clarify something for our followers. It was brought to my attention that another business is claiming that their competitor is using AI photos to advertise floral work. I really hope it wasn’t us they were referring to. 🤔 But the comment has got me thinking. I have on occasion used Chat to do a more pleasing background on our floral photos. Honestly, I find florals difficult to photograph. When I’m designing I’m quite often rushed doing orders. I usually don’t have time to clear a space to take a proper photo. Nor do I have a Photo Booth in the store that’s got the appropriate lighting or backdrop to take photos. Often these orders are going out the door right after completing and I’m on to the next order. I feel like people don’t really want to see the mess like cutters, leaves, my Tim’s cup etc. However, saving the photo and asking Chat to put a simple background looks far more professional to me. Is that ok with everyone? I can assure you we take great pride in our work, why would we want to post someone else’s? 😂 But to the business that thinks that we are, I consider that a great compliment! 😘
