It’s a lot of work
And I’m grateful to have it. 🫶🏼
Last night we had the privilege to host a lovely surprise party for a young couple.
The feeling people have at Gather Canada during their special time really matter to me, so creating treasured moments from first contact to saying thank you and goodbye (for now!) can feel like a lot of work.
In the last few days I’ve been reflecting on the entrepreneurial journey, which can be all over the place - the highs, the lows, the uncertainty, the learning and pivoting (who’s with me? 😝).
I began writing out a list of the people who stood up to support - came to check it out, sent reviews, made referrals, booked events, believe in the mission and share it with others.
It’s beyond humbling, and I am so grateful.
I hope I am paying it forward and will live long enough to repay the kindness.
Many people who are on the gratitude list won’t see this post, so putting it out into the world is a way to transfer the positive energy I’ve received as a reminder that the current is there.
