Our main man Parker had a minor procedure today requiring sedation…
Chilling the most in the backyard now. Haven’t seen this move before! 😅

The calm before the ’storm’.
The setup is done. The organizer is chilling the most and breathing deeply. Everything looks amazing and the vibe is just right.
We do that. Exactly that!
Curious?

It’s a lot of work
And I’m grateful to have it. 🫶🏼

Last night we had the privilege to host a lovely surprise party for a young couple.

The feeling people have at Gather Canada during their special time really matter to me, so creating treasured moments from first contact to saying thank you and goodbye (for now!) can feel like a lot of work.

In the last few days I’ve been reflecting on the entrepreneurial journey, which can be all over the place - the highs, the lows, the uncertainty, the learning and pivoting (who’s with me? 😝).

I began writing out a list of the people who stood up to support - came to check it out, sent reviews, made referrals, booked events, believe in the mission and share it with others.

It’s beyond humbling, and I am so grateful.

I hope I am paying it forward and will live long enough to repay the kindness.

Many people who are on the gratitude list won’t see this post, so putting it out into the world is a way to transfer the positive energy I’ve received as a reminder that the current is there.

Sunday vibes: Keep going when it feels hard. Your people are there, even when you don’t see them. 💓

If LinkedIn has been sitting in the “I should really figure this out” category, this is your sign.

Sara Auld and I created something different.

Bring your laptop.

You’ll be implementing in real time, getting feedback as you go, and completing the work before you leave.

No more overthinking. No more posting and hearing crickets.

Here’s what we’re doing:

✓ Optimizing your profile so the right people find you

✓ Creating content on the spot so you know what to say
and how to say it

✓ Building a connection strategy that leads to real
conversations

✓ Getting clear on what actually matters and what doesn’t

📸 Session two, we bring in brand photographer Nathalie Amlani - for headshots and mini brand sessions so your visuals match your strategy.

We start April 29.

If you’re ready to use LinkedIn to bring in opportunities, not just views, this is for you.
