With so many new faces joining us this upcoming season, we thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce ourselves before the busy season starts back up!
We’re Thomas, Erica, Lidia & Dan, the family behind Star Beat Dance Champions. 🤍
This season, we’re incredibly proud to be celebrating 24 years of dance, family, and unforgettable memories.
What began as a dream in 2003 has grown into something far greater than we ever imagined. Dan and Lidia founded Star Beat with one simple goal: to create a competition where dancers could shine, feel celebrated, and create lifelong memories. Twenty-four years later, that dream continues to grow because of all of you.
Star Beat has always been about more than trophies—it’s about community, friendships, passion, and creating an experience families look forward to year after year.
A few fun facts about our family:
✨ Star Beat began in 2003 with just one location in Niagara Falls. Today we’re proud to host 12 events, including Toronto, Hamilton, and Niagara Falls.
✨ Erica and Thomas are brother and sister (and yes... Erica is older by 3 years! 😉).
✨ Erica grew up as a competitive dancer. Jazz will always be her favourite style.
✨ Thomas spent years playing competitive soccer and hockey and still loves both today.
✨ Dan and Lidia are proud empty nesters, who still live and breathe Star Beat!
As a family-run competition, every event means the world to us. Seeing dancers grow, studios return year after year, and welcoming new families into the Star Beat community is truly the greatest gift.
Thank you for trusting us with your dancers, your weekends, and your memories. Your support over the past 24 years has allowed this dream to continue, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Here’s to another incredible season, we can’t wait to see you on the Star Beat stage! 🤍🤩🎉
