Welcome to my first Toxic Tuesday post!

This is where I'll list or discuss flowers and foliage that are toxic to pets. I'll try to put out a list post like this one at the start of each month with the plants that are typically blooming throughout the month. I'll use the other Tuesdays to discuss the flowers in more detail.

I'm thinking of doing Safety Sundays for pet-safe plant lists.

Fun fact, off the farm I'm trying to finish up a PhD part-time. My research focuses on accidental pet cat poisonings. The most frequent type of poisoning event is due to plants and flowers. I've always wanted flowers to mark if they were cat safe or not, and now with my own flowers I can do just that!
