2025 was a YEAR.
The economy shifted, venues got more expensive, and somehow running a small business did too (surprise!).
There’s been an incredible wave of new businesses and sadly we said goodbye to some of our favorites along the way. The vendor world looks very different than it did four years ago, which was already very different from the COVID years.
Truthfully, 2025 took a bit of the fun out of it for me. These markets have always been a joy—supporting local, discovering new artisans, tasting new foods, enjoying local music, and seeing the community come together to do the same. That’s always been the goal, and getting to work with so many outstanding venues and organizations over the past four years has been an absolute privilege.
I’ve been very quiet over here. In 2025, I tried new things, stuck with old things, some worked, some didn’t—and that’s okay. I definitely ruffled a few feathers this year.
I don’t usually share my personal life here, but just to add in single-mom life, custody and divorce proceedings (almost two years in, yay), returning to the corporate world (still in small business though), and losing my entire Instagram account with everything I’d built… yeah, it was a lot
With a few changes ahead, 2026 is already feeling lighter—and hopeful. Markets will be back this year, with a smaller list of events and venues that align with our values while staying budget-friendly for our vendors, bringing back our favourites 🙌🏻
We’re stepping into 2026 a little wiser, a little different, and incredibly grateful for those who stuck with me and understood the bigger picture. This all started with my love for Hamilton, so let's keep that going 👏🏻🔨
Thank you for being here.
I’ll see you soon 🤍
