We're pretty excited - our March public meeting is next Thursday at Grace Anglican Church!

Christopher Redford is the City of Hamilton’s Heritage Presentation Co-ordinator. He helps produce many of the plaques and markers across the city; including the one at the Hamilton and Scourge National Historical Site at the Naval Memorial Garden in Confederation Park.

The Hamilton and Scourge were merchant ships that the American Navy brought into service prior to the War of 1812. They capsized in Lake Ontario and are the only complete 1812 war ships to rest under 300 feet of water. Christopher will present the history of the ships as well as how using first-hand accounts and sonar technology, these wrecks have been found and investigated.

We hope to be able to host the meeting as a hybrid between in person and via online hosting platforms - stay in the loop by checking in on our events page on our website and here on Facebook.

You can’t spell funeral without F-U-N!! From the write of ‘The Wedding’ comes a new interactive, immersive, theatrical undertaking: ‘The Funeral’.

So, don’t be a stiff!! Grab your blackest mourning veil, sign the book of condolences and pay your respects to the dearly deceased at The Staircase Theatre this spring!

Show runs approximately 70 minutes.

Expect lots of cast interaction, tons of audience participation and heaps of drama, so heavy, we’ll need a dozen pallbearers.
