Tips for the “Getting Ready” portion of the wedding day ✨

1. Choose a location with natural light for makeup application, and enough room for people to move around. Also consider the aesthetic of the space and if it makes a nice backdrop for your photos.

2. Make sure you have booked enough photo coverage so that your photographer can get settled in and take photos of your attire and details before moving on to getting dressed and group photos.

3. Make sure you have made arrangements for meals and drinks so that everyone is comfortable for a long and exciting day.

4. Collect details you would like photographed such as your invitation pieces, and have them ready for your photographer when they arrive.

5. Have your personal florals like bouquets and boutonnieres delivered to your getting ready location before your photographer arrives so that they can be used featured in photos.

6. Create a wedding timeline that allows enough time for every aspect of the day so that you can savour it and not rush. That’s where having an experienced wedding planner or coordinator is essential.

Had to share more details from D&M’s special day! 💖

We added texture and drama to the tables by heavily ruching the table runners. Pinks and brights were so much fun in the floral details, a reflection of our sweet and lovely bride. And lighting.. warm white uplighting made all the difference in certain areas of the space.
