A Pincushion Costuming coat made from a vintage 1960's HBC point blanket and vintage cotton lining. The blanket, being vintage, has some condition flaws, which have been cut around where possible. It is darted at the shoulders, and cut straight through the bodice. The lining is white cotton, the buttonholes are handworked. The buttons are antique mother of pearl. Link in bio!

The absolute tragedy of vintage textiles. 💔At some point over the last century, a previous owner took scissors to a 1920s beaded flapper dress and left us with this satin-backed skirt panel. There are a few spots of missing glass beadwork and some storage staining on the brown satin, but the remaining artistry is unreal. Early 1900s sheer Swiss dot cotton two-piece summer dress. 🕊️Look at the details on this: cartridge pleating in the back of the skirt, smocked neckline, and gorgeous lace trim. It’s got a few tiny rust stains and holes showing its history, but it is in incredibly good shape for its age.
