*added details to the 4-player rule update*

Nova Scotia Curling is announcing that the new World Curling 4‑player requirement will NOT be implemented for any provincial championships in the 2026–27 season.

Teams MUST still register for all provincial championships with 4 players but if there is an injury/illness they are permitted to play with 3. The winning teams MUST then follow the new 4 player Curling Canada rule when they attend the National event.

NS Curling will gather feedback throughout the upcoming season to help us guide decisions on how the rule might be applied in future seasons.
