I’ve been sitting on this gallery for far too long. Emily & Josh’s wedding in Chester was unforgettable – pure east coast energy all weekend long. I’ve honestly never seen a crowd hype up a couple quite like this one. and when Emily walked down the aisle, the whole place lit up - it was one of those moments you don’t forget.

the entire day moved fast (in the best way) - so much happening behind the scenes, last minute switches, all the little adjustments that make it come together - but it never lost the fun. Working with Emily was a blast from day one, and her energy carried through to the wedding itself. It was a party, it was heartfelt, it was one of those days look back on and know was truly something special 💕 definitely one for the books!!

happy Monday!

it’s a short week for us as we’re heading to Maine with my little one to cheer on my hubby racing in the 2025 IOD world championships !! ⛵️ but before we go..

we’re focusing on our final two full-service planning clients for 2025 (October and November) — pulling together design and decor details, and making sure we’re set up for success.

we’re also diving into all the galleries we’ve received from this busy summer. sometimes we don’t get to them right away while we’re in the thick of summer weddings, but I love reliving the days through the photos. we’re definitely behind on sharing… so prepare to be sick of me 🙃

and finally, we’re reviewing ALL the feedback forms from our 2025 couples so we can share those online – thank you so much to everyone who took the time to fill these out!

Sneak peeks from Daina + Ross’ wedding at the – our second time here this summer and it could not have been a more perfect, hot summer day. We’d been working together for over a year, planning from opposite sides of the country, and they made every step feel so easy and enjoyable. the sweetest, most laid back, kind, and so welcoming (I even went home with a whole rum cake thanks to the groom’s mom). this is the good stuff.

poking my head out of the wedding chaos to say hello, hi!!! peak season is peaking. and now we’re headed off for a week at the cottage just before diving into the final stretch of summer weddings. feeling pretty good about how I scheduled weddings and weekends off this year - recharging exactly when I need it. Planning burnout is notttt the vibe.

a quick catch up - it’s been a little over two months since I left my corporate job and I can finally say with full body relief it was absolutely the right call. there’s been a lot of driving, a lot of iced coffee, but also a lot of clarity. I feel wayyyy more grounded in what I’m doing. this season has pushed me in all the right ways and reminded me that I’m right where I’m supposed to be.

we’re almost through the busiest stretch of the year and then it’s reset mode. fall and winter weddings, 2026 planning, and 2027 bookings. But for right now, I’ll be hanging at the beach with the fam this next week.

The Flowers 🫶🏼🥂🤍🌊🦪🪩

A classic South Shore weekend filled with many moving parts, meaningful moments, and the best weather. Maggie & Will’s private island ceremony on East Point Island was followed by a boat ride to the yacht club for cocktails, dinner, and dancing with the — and it all came together beautifully.

This one tested our planning muscles in the best ways, and I couldn’t be more proud of how it all came to life. So grateful to the incredible team of vendors who made it happen:

Meet Danielle Flynn - A true Sagittarius at heart, Danielle is always up for a new adventure, and her newest one has brought her to the Yours for the Day team as a Wedding Day Coordinator!

Originally from Cape Breton, she brings experience planning large-scale corporate events and a love for the joy and connection those moments create. She’s drawn to weddings for the same reason: being part of meaningful days that people will never forget.

With a calm, organized mindset and a big heart for celebration, she’s there to keep the day running smoothly, so couples can focus on what matters most.

By day, she works as a Marketing Manager for Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency and teaches Pilates at R Studios. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her partner Jeremy, catching up with her girlfriends over good food, and snuggling up with her kitty Winston.
