throwing it back to one of my favourite styled shoots as we head into spring 🌼
There’s a lot that happens in the months you don’t see on here. While our wedding season runs May through October (and it’s as full and fun as it looks), the winter months look very different behind the scenes.
This is when we slow down juuust enough to build.
Refining our systems, updating our processes, reworking contracts, improving our client experience, organizing our team, and quietly laying the foundation for the season ahead!
It’s not always glamorous work - but it’s the work that allows everything to run smoothly when things are in full motion and we’re in the thick of our wedding season. Vendors in this industry are often in a constant cycle of pouring out. The busy season asks a lot of us - our time, our energy,attention to detail, presence.
Which is why the slower months matter so much. They’re not just a break - they’re a reset. A chance to refill, reset creatively, and come back with focus and drive instead of exhaustion.
This past season looked a little different for me personally as well, and I’ve been moving through it in a quieter way - focusing on family, on growth, and on building what’s next for both my life and business.
Now, as we step into a new season, I feel really grateful for the work that’s been done behind the scenes… and excited for what’s ahead.
