GUTTERFEST 2026 WAS AMAZING! The crowd was great, bands were absolutely amazing, the staff at Avon Valley Lanes were incredible, the sound techs made everyone sound impeccable, the hosts kept everything in check and helped ease my stresses 😅 and I cannot thank everyone enough. You guys are the rocks that build such a solid foundation for this festival.

I also wanna throw out a HUGE SHOUTOUT to both Brian Byrne (former frontman of I Mother Earth) and Franz (GrimSkunk frontman) for their separate surprise acoustic sets. What an honour to be front row for both. Such an incredible weekend with so many amazing experiences.

Gutterfest is my baby and the love I have for this festival will be unmatched. I have learned sooooo much from this wild experience over the last 4 years and will continue to bring those lessons with me as I build something bigger. I’m the type that likes to be thrown to the wolves when it comes to learning and experiencing new things.

I also have big dreams and a huge love for punk rock music. That being said, Gutterfest as we all know it will be laid to rest to make room for something way BIGGER and BETTER.

I will be working with a team of 5 promoters from across Canada with dreams as big as mine and together we will be bringing something HUGE to Nova Scotia. Different venue, different name, same punk rock DIY style, same vibe. Stay tuned for something that’s gonna blow your minds!

Unfortunately there will not be a Halfway to Gutterfest in January, but there will be something else planned in its place so please stay tuned for that as well.

To everyone who has helped me with Gutterfest over the years, please know that I will forever be grateful for whatever part you played in the craziness and beauty that IS and FOREVER will be GUTTERFEST, even as she rests.

To all the bands etc that played Gutterfest 2026, if you haven’t heard from me yet, you will soon. Asking for a bit of grace while I tie up loose ends for Gutterfest one last time 😅🖤 This is very bittersweet for me although I am EXTREMELY EXCITED for this next chapter.

Good morning! GUTTERFEST 2026 is finally here and I can’t wait to party with you all! I just wanted to say a few things first to ensure we all have a fun and safe weekend;

First, this event will be held outdoors. Please leave all alcohol at your campsites, do not try to bring anything on to the festival grounds. We are a licensed facility and will have alcohol available on the grounds and inside the alley. ABSOLUTELY no alcohol to be consumed in the parking lot or you will be asked to leave immediately.

Second, camping will be held on the Hants County Exhibition grounds. Just go to the small building on your left, as you’re pulling in, to register your campsite. We have our own section of the field, and there is lots of room for everyone.

Thirdly, we will be having a moment of silence and giving folks a chance to say a few words tonight before Hogtooth’s set, in memory of Nick Holland, who died an absolute hero in 2023 on his way home from GutterFest. Our hearts will forever be broken, but we will never forget Nick. I promise to pay tribute to him at every GutterFest.

Lastly, Snacks, drinks and BBQ will be available outside and snacks, drinks, pizza, vegetarian options will be available inside as well.

Beach Babez are a punk band from Pictou County, Nova Scotia who as it would seem have chosen to go with a “z” instead of an “s” in the spelling of their band name. Tasteful. Edgy. Ahead of the curb. That’s Beach Babez with a “Z”, thank you very much. Beach Babez’ humble yet sophisticated culmination of a wide range of classic influences spans between artists such as Cher, Garth Brooks and G.G. Allin.
Move over, New Glasgow based skate punk, there’s new boys in town. Say hello to Nick, 32, and Rob, and say goodbye to Jeff. If any set could sound exactly like hell on earth, it would be Beach Babez’. Apparently they might be working on new, good material, but we’ll believe that when we see it. Until then, experience the torturous sound of Nova Scotia’s least favourite alcoholics, and remember to stop by the merch table to pick up a “I survived a Beach Babez performance and all I got was as this lousy shirt” limited run long sleeve T.

Reaction are a fast and angry anarchist street punk band from Montreal/ Longueuil Quebec! They share members with The Ruffianz and Unwanted noise, making them a supergroup of absolute chaos! Cannot wait for them to hit the Gutterfest stage July 25th at Avon Valley Lanes!
