📸✨ Calling All Shutterbugs! Submit Your Photos for 2028 Canadian Church Calendar!

Submissions for the 2028 calendar are now open. If you're considering submitting, here are some ideas.

We’re looking for photos of United Churches:

🙌 Interior shots of people: at worship, church events, the choir singing, architectural details, altar displays, the communion table, a filled baptismal font, etc.

🌿 Exterior shots of churches: not just church buildings but also community gardens, architectural details, greening projects, outdoor services, social justice events, etc.

🌱❄️🍂☀️ Remember to include winter, spring, and fall shots too.

We’d love to see photos of churches from all the provinces and territories across Canada!

📷 We print a photographer credit and offer a $100 honorarium for each photo chosen, and we’ll send you a copy of the calendar once it’s printed.

🗓 Deadline for submissions: January 17, 2027.

Join us for worship this Sunday!
At the 10am service this week we will begin a journey through the Season of Creation. The World Council of Churches has invited the global church to participate in a month of worship, prayer and liturgy focusing on caring for Creation – this year with a focus on water.
After of summer of wildfires, unprecedented heat waves, and most recently with the flooding and landslide in Nepal,
it seems appropriate to turn some of our attention to how we can do more to care for God’s good creation.

Please join Paul and David Whitely following the service this Sunday to celebrate their parent’s 60th Wedding Anniversary!
Hugh and Marilyn Whitely have also been members at Harcourt Memorial for 60 years and they wanted to include you in
their celebration! Please plan to stay and celebrate with them!

Could your not-for-profit organization play a role in creating more affordable housing in Guelph?

For Harcourt Memorial United Church, Guelph Ontario, an Affordable Housing Seed Funding grant helped turn their idea into action.

With support from the program, Harcourt hired a consultant to help them explore how their property could be redeveloped to create more affordable homes for people in Guelph.

If you're a not-for-profit with an idea for an affordable housing project, the City has seed funding to help.
