The Bread and Roses series is back for it's second year! This workshop series aims to be a space for loosely guided discussions based around the importance of beauty in the revolution. With one session per season, each workshop will focus on a seasonal theme and have a plant/earth based activity to work with while we wonder and muse.
We talked a lot about what to change this year and we decided that rather than start from scratch, we wanted to go deeper into the same topics we talked about last year. As the world continues to feel heavier and heavier, these topics only grow in relevance.
For the Spring workshop we will be talking about the concept of hope as a practice, as a thing that can be cultivated and nurtured. While we talk, we will be planting flower seeds along with our intentions and hopes for the season. Each participant will get to take home their planted seed to nurture and grow into a flower of their own.
Just a lil guy is a scrappy farming duo held together by soil, passion and the power of friendship. Seeking a way out of the neurotypical hellscape of traditional employment, we AuDHD-ers fled to the fields to combine our experience in growing and designing to bring accessible, local, quality flowers to the market.
