🎃 **NOVA SCOTIA — TRUNK OR TREAT SEASON IS HERE!**

Whoever came up with the idea of decorating car trunks, filling them with candy, and bringing families together for Halloween deserves a little credit.

And the best part? There are FREE events happening around Nova Scotia!

If you've never been to a Trunk or Treat, picture a parking lot filled with decorated vehicles, costumed kids, Halloween treats, and neighbours having a bit of fun together.

It's also a great option for little ones who aren't quite ready for a full night of door-to-door trick-or-treating.

**HERE'S WHERE TO FIND THEM IN 2026!**

🍬 **COLE HARBOUR — Trunk or Treat**

📅 Sunday, October 25 | 3–5 PM
📍 Cole Harbour Fire Hall, 1150 Cole Harbour Road
💰 Free admission
Decorated trunks, candy, games, prizes, and family fun. Optional food donations for the Cole Harbour Community Fridge.

🍬 **GREENWOOD — Village Trunk or Treat**

📅 Sunday, October 25 | 2–4 PM
📍 Civic Field, 904 Central Avenue
💰 Free
Decorated vehicles, Halloween treats, and community fun. Volunteers can also register to decorate a trunk!

🍬 **KENTVILLE — Trunk or Treat**

📅 Thursday, October 29 | 1:30–3:30 PM
📍 Kings County Family Resource Centre, 4 Calkin Drive
💰 Free
An inclusive afternoon with costumes, candy, decorated trunks, and family activities.

🍬 **WATERVALE — Trunk or Treat**

📅 Friday, October 30 | 7–9 PM
📍 Watervale Recreation Centre, 118 Cove Road

🍬 **WEYMOUTH — Light the Night Trunk or Treat**

📅 Saturday, October 31 | 4–6 PM
📍 Weymouth Church of Christ, 4924 Highway 1
Free cookies, popcorn, and hot chocolate are advertised.

🍬 **MULGRAVE — Trunk or Treat**

📅 Saturday, October 31 | 2–4 PM
📍 Mulgrave Memorial Centre, 459 Murray Street

**AND NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP, NOVA SCOTIA!**

I'm looking for more Trunk or Treat events in Pictou County, Truro, Cape Breton, the South Shore, HRM, and everywhere in between.

If your church, fire department, community group, or neighbourhood is hosting one, please share the details below!

And here's another idea: If your community doesn't have one, perhaps this is the year to start. It doesn't take a huge budget to decorate a trunk and make a few kids smile.

**Save this post, share it with another parent, and help us build a province-wide list!**

Please confirm event details with organizers before heading out, as schedules can change.

One of the perks of making my own stencils? Being able to get creative with a last-minute Halloween costume request! 🎃✂️

Need a particular pattern or detail to finish your look? I can design and cut something to suit—without waiting for an order to arrive! This freshly cut stencil is ready for its turn in the paint chair. 🎨✨

There’s a little more happening behind the scenes than paint and glitter, and I love seeing it all come together!

Have a costume idea? Send it my way so we can chat about what’s possible! 👻
