On May 30, 2026, surrounded by the people who love them most, Katelynn & Paige said “I Do” at the beautiful Barn & Bliss in Verner. 🤍

Their wedding day was filled with love, laughter, happy tears, and all of the little moments that make a wedding so unforgettable. From the stunning countryside setting to the joy shared by family and friends, it was a celebration of two wonderful people beginning their next chapter together as spouses.

A wedding trend I’m really loving lately… having your wedding party sit during the ceremony 🤍

After walking in and standing with you for the important moments, having your bridesmaids and groomsmen take a seat allows them to truly soak it all in — not just as part of the wedding party, but as witnesses to one of the most meaningful, once-in-a-lifetime moments of your love story.

They get to watch your vows, feel the emotion, and be present in a different way… while keeping the focus beautifully on the couple at the altar.

It also creates a clean, intimate ceremony look and gives your wedding party a chance to simply be there with you.

As an officiant, I think this is such a beautiful option for couples who want a heartfelt, intentional ceremony.

What do you think… love this trend or do you prefer having your full wedding party standing beside you? 💍✨

My opinion as your officiant side? I think it works especially well for outdoor weddings, smaller weddings, or couples who want a softer, more intimate feel. It’s not right for every wedding, but it’s a really beautiful modern touch.

This afternoon, surrounded by the love of family and friends, Krista & David said “I Do” ❤️

Their ceremony was filled with so many beautiful emotions… lots of laughs, happy tears, heartfelt moments, and so much love in the room. After 10+ years of officiating weddings, you’d think the nerves would disappear… but they don’t. And honestly, I hope they never do.
