Curling fans, and all Greater Sudbury residents, are invited to attend an event on Wednesday September 3, 2025, as the City celebrates the recent international achievements of local curler Tracy Fleury. 🥌

Join us at the NCU Community Centre for remarks from City officials and Curl Sudbury representatives. We'll be recognizing Tracy's two recent world titles in women's curling and the pride she brings to her hometown.

We were proud to host the Men’s 3.5 Division at the 55+ Summer Games! 🏓✨
Two amazing days of pickleball action brought together talented players from all over Ontario. It was fantastic to see our facility buzzing with energy and being put to great use for this event.

We’re always happy to be part of such a vibrant and active community! 💙

Jake and Tanner Horgan make our Golf Day part of their summer tradition, and yesterday we had the chance to catch up with them! ⛳️ It was also the first time the vice and second from Team Epping got a look at the 2025 NOCA Tankard — now proudly inscribed with their names. 🏆

Team Epping has a packed season ahead, kicking things off in Italy later this month, then heading to Halifax for the Olympic Trials and competing in another Grand Slam event.

What a day! ⛳️☀️
Our annual Golf Day was a huge success — 18 holes of fun, food, and friendship! We caught up with our curling crew, made some new friends (and maybe future curlers!), enjoyed a delicious meal, and shared a few laughs over some cold beverages.

For the second year in a row, Lynn, Sylvanna, Sharon, and Gerry took home the win — congrats, champs! 🏆

Big thanks to The Co-operators for the awesome prizes and to Northern Credit Union for the great swag. You helped make the day extra special.

Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a fun long weekend tradition. Until next year! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️🥂

Congratulations Tom!!

🏆 NOCA Awards Week Continues! 🧊

We're proud to announce Tom Leonard of the NCU Community Centre in Sudbury as the recipient of this year’s Ice Technician Award!

Tom has been a dedicated member of the NCU team for over 30 years, holding his current role since 2013. This past season, he served as the Head Ice Technician at the 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Thunder Bay, delivering world-class ice on one of curling’s biggest stages.

As one of our provincial ice technicians, Tom is a leader in his field and a passionate mentor to others across the province and country. He also serves as a learning facilitator, passing along his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of ice makers.

Congratulations, Tom, and thank you for your outstanding contributions to the sport we love! 👏❄️
