2027 BRIDES — LET’S GET A HEAD START! 💕✂️

2027 brides have already started booking, and after a very busy 2026 — maybe a little too busy for one person! — I’m doing things a little differently next year.

The discount is for brides who are ready to start their alterations early, rather than simply booking now for an appointment later in the season. The whole idea is to get some gowns completed before wedding season gets busy, so there’s less rushing and a little more breathing room for everyone.

And if you’re worried about your size changing before the wedding, that’s completely understandable. We can get your alterations done early, then have you come back about 4–6 weeks before your wedding for a complimentary fitting to make sure everything is still fitting beautifully.

Not every wedding dress starts with lace. This one started with butterflies. 🦋

The minute I saw this fabric, I knew it needed to become a gown.

Soft ivory, floating butterflies, a beautiful full skirt — romantic, but with a little personality.

This gown will be made to order in any size, and the details can be changed to make it feel like you.

The butterfly fabric is limited, so once it’s gone… this little love story is over. 🦋

A little update about custom gowns and dresses 💕

Going forward, I’ll only be accepting a small number of custom gowns, evening gowns, and special-occasion dresses each year.

My busiest wedding season runs from March through September, and during those months I’m extremely busy with wedding gown alterations, bridesmaids, mothers’ dresses, prom gowns, and many other alterations. Custom pieces also require a great deal of time, planning, fittings, and attention along the way.

Because of this, I require a minimum of 12 months’ notice for any custom-made gown, dress, or special piece.

This year I took on quite a few custom pieces while also having a very busy alteration season. I’m getting everything done, but it has definitely shown me that I need to be a little more selective with how many custom pieces I take on each year.

I truly love creating one-of-a-kind pieces, and by limiting the number I accept, I can make sure each one gets the time, care, and attention it deserves.

Honestly, I could do this all day. Sewing, creating, finishing up gowns and enjoying a quiet Sunday at work. I love this stuff.🩷

When did I become a wedding gown designer?

I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately.

There wasn’t one big moment when I decided, “This is who I am now.”

It happened quietly.

One alteration.
One piece of lace.
One bride asking, “Can you change this?”
One dress I looked at and thought, I know exactly what I would do.

And somewhere between fixing gowns, reshaping them, dreaming up details and choosing beautiful fabrics…

I started creating my own.

My ideas.
My hands.
My imagination.

I didn’t wake up one morning and become a wedding gown designer.

I think I stitched my way there. ✨

I’ve been working on a couple of new bridal designs, and I have to say… I’m a little obsessed with this one. 🤍

I absolutely love a drop waist — the way it lengthens the body and then falls into that soft, flowing skirt is just so beautiful.

My vision for this gown is smooth ivory crepe, an off-the-shoulder neckline, a very flowy A-line skirt, a simple zipper back and a short train. Nothing too heavy or overdone — just soft, elegant, romantic and made to move.

And yes… I’m bringing this one to life. 🤍

There’s something so special about creating a dress just for someone. 💕 She chose this beautiful, soft stretch fabric, and together we brought her vision to life through every fitting and little detail. Such a fun, laid-back, beautiful woman inside and out — and she looks absolutely fabulous in her custom dress. It was truly a privilege to make this for her. ✨
