Very happy to see with my own eyes today that is safe after the scary fire that occured early this morning at the back (lake side) of the .

Fires are scary no matter what but this could have been sooo much worse. Thankful to the responding fire departments in who were able to stop it from taking down this beloved ( & concert) venue.

Posting for those who are reading the headlines today, April 6, 2026 and worried about their upcoming weddings. I know my couples are breathing a sigh of relief for sure!

What a room to be in earlier tonight! So much community under one roof, at for the YWCA Muskoka event. I have taken courses through this organization in my journey as a Woman in Business, in Muskoka - they do great work! Very inspiring listening to women lifting other women up, and to hear their stories. Great job. Lots of folks from Gravenhurst nominated like our very own Miranda Mulholland , Autumn Smith and Aimee Bulloch Moore which filled me with pride. Ellen Selby mc'd and knocked it out of thr park!

My heart! That feeling when you bump into your favourite wedding DJ ( and his wife ) who also ended up choosing you to coordinate their daughter and son-in-law 's wedding at ! Oh man, I was grinning for a long time after running into them today at while I was there exhibiting at the put on by .

The best part about getting married in Muskoka is that once you're done planning - you can pass it off to us so you can fully enjoy what you've planned!

Leigha Johnston and I had fun with our Muskoka Wedding Show booth this year - "Land Here, Leave With A Plan" where couples collected $200 when they passed GO (our booth) and were invited to pull either a CHANCE or COMMUNITY CHEST card where they either got more money or 'lost' money. Well said ! I was in love with Elliott's parents and excited to meet him and his fiancee and offered my assistance to show gratitude for how lucky I was to have his dad as my teacher and guidance counsellor throughout high school. Was over the moon to get to see them through the whole thing and that of all photographers I got to work with you again! Thank you for sharing. I wish repeat weddings were a thing with the same couples. Let's normalize vow renewals every 5 years ! :)

🎶🌠🌙Moon shadowed ground with no one around, and a blanket of stars in our eyes...🌙🌠🎶 Brooke and Jesse decided to after 5 years together and two beautiful children! See? There were some good things to come out of the pandemic! They met online and played a lot of socially distanced chess after putting it out to the universe that she wanted a good man (with a slow hand like their song says!) and as they say the rest is history.

In such a short time together it felt like I had known them forever. Grateful they reached out for something assistance in pulling something meaningful at the last weekend.

They had a beautiful king suite with a balcony overlooking , they went on hikes and bike rides to pick the spot they would , and said i-do at sunset with , lakeside carrying beautiful flowers from . They shared some bubbly with their witnesses (her Mom & Grandma) and a bite of cake, playing chess in the library, sharing a moonlit first dance on the terrace before moving into the .icecaves for a delicious dinner. All of this was professionally captured by of course but for now, here are a bit of the .
