Small but mighty crew for July's networking night. The host venue was and we enjoyed a delicious dinner overlooking lake muskoka, toured the property and watched the sunset. Great spot for microweddings or complete buyouts with guest counts of 100.

Throwback to Breanne & Caleb's wedding! The stars aligned and when their wedding venue fell through the week before their wedding! (town was going to shut it down - venue didn't have proper permits - not the couple's fault, and not the first time I've relocated a wedding from here). The challenging part? Lakeside with room for all of the motorcycles. Taboo Muskoka Resort & Golf stepped up to assist with the ceremony since the site wasn't being used post-fire, and the Muskoka Steamships & Discovery Centre had the space for wedding reception. What a day! So many memories including the smell of burning rubber, the sweet sounds of their friend Cory Marks performing their first dance, and just the overall comradery of their friends, family and the wedding vendors who pivoted to make it all come together in the end.

I think I'm going to start throwing it back every week to beautiful memories made throughout my years planning & coordinating weddings with great couples, families and wedding vendors. Like this one! The Carson-Dixon Family to this day continue to make me smile as I am able to watch their families grow and adventure through life through social media... repeat business (in my field) you could say is a bit 'taboo' har har :)

Taboo Muskoka Resort & Golf was (and still is in it's current form) a great place to say "WE - DO" and celebrate lakeside. (See the Idyllwood? I miss the days when it was part of the Sunset Cruises Muskoka - Peerless II sailing fleet).

"The Wedding Planner is IN! 💍✨"

At the Muskoka Wedding Show, I traded in my clipboard for a booth inspired by the iconic running gag in the Peanuts comic strip 'Psychiatric Help 5¢' stand—because let’s be honest, wedding planning can feel a little overwhelming sometimes! 😅

From wedding planning "prescriptions" 📝 to sweet therapy sessions (aka chocolate 'medicin' 🍫), Leigha & I had the best time meeting couples, chatting about their wedding visions, and helping make their dream days feel a little less stressful and a lot more fun. 💸The best part? the nickels you got when you arrived at the show will be donated to Mind-Aid Muskoka!

Now, the real work begins— "doctor follow-ups" with the amazing couples who stopped by! 🩺💖

Super thoughtful and unnecessary spoiling of and I today from . We were so lucky to be part of your family unit for such a special time in your lives. All of the x's and o's from our hearts to you guys. If you need a yummy caterer in Muskoka, look them up ! We tried so hard not to eat everything in sight at their wedding.
