Justine and Joey decided after 8 years of committing to each other over and over, that they would like to celebrate that commitment by tying the known, bringing family and friends all over to Utterson on Saturday. Even their fur babies were there! Tornado warnings on Friday cleared the skies for their wedding day. Can't wait to see the pro photos but her are some cell phone snaps from Leigha and I.

16 years ago they met, 10 years ago they attended a Lumina Resort wedding, 7 years ago they started their own little family, and despite a big life move to the west coast, and all the places they could have chosen for this big life moment, when it was time to tie the knot they chose to gather family and friends for a weekend to reconnect. With 35 kids under the age of 10, a family resort in cottage country helped everyone to be present within their own chaos (case in point: the lake floatie here during this romantic photo moment at sunset 🤣)

Mother Nature had other plans for their intimate, island wedding on the Sunday so, like all great artists and life partners, they pivoted right away to plan B, armed with Meta Glasses, filming the intended guest arrival experience and ceremony backdrop to be shown up on the screen at the Gravenhurst Opera House. Being the great great grand daughter of Charles Mickle, the mayor responsible for having the venue built 125 years ago, it felt like a meaningful backup plan. They hid the rings under random seats in the audience, had friends perform beautiful songs, and exited in a parade lead by Mimi O'Bonsawin singing together 'keep on the sunny side of life' down to lunch in trillium court with delicious food from local caterer Mariane Sayers and toasts. Can't say I've heard the Discover Muskoka slogan 'once discovered, never forgotten' in someone's vows before or a reference to 'the juggernaut known as ABBA' but this was a weekend of celebration that will be talked about for a very long time I'm sure. Congratulations Mark and Miranda, thank you for having us there for you and yours.

The middle - the festival. A VIP pre show thank you to long time supporters, family and friends with a Canadian debut from before welcomed the house, and introduced closing with for the 10th and final , at the ... announcing to the audience that she would be marrying her best friend, the , in the morning. All the feels, all the night - especially witnessing all those 'last moments' in the dressing room and the walk to the stage.

Why not get married during your 10th and final Muskoka Music Festival weekend? Miranda has brought the magic every year but this one would have been hard to top! Her and Mark said I Do - I Do - I Do... kicking off the festival & wedding weekend with a reception at Sawdust City Event Space - a vibrant celebration for a couple that brightens any space they walk into.

Visited the Annual Vintage Boat Show organized by ACBS Toronto at the Muskoka Wharf today and somewhere between the mahogany runabouts and the smell of the water, work took a back seat.

I was able to spend the afternoon walking the docks with my dad.

Every few boats there was another story. The first outboard he ever owned. The boat someone in the family had. The days just like this one spent on the lakes and rivers.

That's one of the things I love most about Muskoka. Whether you're here for a weekend, a family tradition, or you're planning one of the biggest days of your life, this place has a way of becoming part of your story too.

If you've ever spent time on these lakes, I'm willing to bet this reel brings back a memory or two.

A 'repeat' client isn't really a thing in our line of work but but this kind of repeat often is! Not only were we fortunate to be hired by Mackenzie (& Sean) for their cottage wedding, they referred us to their brother, Brandon (& Natalie) who ended up tying the knot with us the month before, at the JW Marriott Muskoka

Getting to support the Harrington Family in these back to back weddings was so special for us that it felt hard to leave in the end. Thankfully we know the memories made will fill our hearts forever. We always jest that we're likely the only people thankful for social media so we can continue to cheerlead our couples through the adventure life takes them on after the wedding.

My heart! That feeling when you bump into your favourite wedding DJ ( and his wife ) who also ended up choosing you to coordinate their daughter and son-in-law 's wedding at ! Oh man, I was grinning for a long time after running into them today at while I was there exhibiting at the put on by .
