What you see online or in photos are either:

• Deep red or burgundy varieties (like Black Baccara or Black Magic) that only appear black, or

• Fresh roses that have been tinted or airbrushed with floral-safe dye.

Because of this, fresh black roses are a specialty item.

They usually need to be pre-ordered and aren’t something most flower shops keep in their cooler every day.

We carry preserved roses in every colour, including black.

These are real roses that have been carefully treated to maintain their soft petals and vibrant colour for 3–5 years.

Meet Ava & Reese both of these girls started working at Luxe when they were 14 years old.

Faaaaast forward 👉 2025 they have both graduated 🎓 high school and have moved onto new chapters however, they remain casual employees with Luxe.

Meet Reese: our social media guru. Reese assists with content and ads at Luxe.

Meet Ava: our self proclaimed 2nd owner (she opened Luxe along side her mom/ owner Jen), Ava has worked hard to learn the ins and outs of the business including gaining her level 3 Floral design.

We’ve been told that “kids” shouldn’t be working in our shop. To that, I reply “F**k off”.

The young women who have worked with us have gained valuable life skills and grown in ways that will serve them far beyond our walls.

They’ve been an incredible asset to our team, and we’re proud to support and nurture youth as they build their futures.
