Hi Everyone 💐

My knee has healed and I’m walking now! For now, we’ve closed the shop and decided to take a step back from local markets and selling products in general.

In the meantime, I’ve had several people ask if I would share some of my recipes and I have started blog where I’m putting together tutorials for making easy cold process soaps and other things. I’m
Slowly sharing all of my dish soap, body soaps and shampoo bars, including my cast iron skillet balms and lotion bars. I would love for you to check it out!

As Mother’s Day approaches, I’m sharing some fun handmade gift ideas. This is my Lemon Grapefruit Hand-scrub and it smells so perfect after a long winter. It’s coconut oil free for those of you who are sensitive to coconut oil, and easy to make. In my posts I also share where I source my ingredients for the best deal and quality.

Hey Everyone:)

Tonight Lucy will have our wares set up at the Grovedale Community Hall Christmas Market from 6-9pm.

Because my girls are running the table this year they can’t do etransfers so if you think to bring cash that would be preferable. Sorry for the inconvenience!

They’ll have the usual wares with lots of new stuff too!

Hi Everyone:)

Not a business post but rather personal and I wanted to post here first.

We are wondering if anyone is in need of a very sweet cat that loves to cuddle and purrr?

With 8 children, half of whom are still small kids and toddlers, our house is full and we aren’t really cat ppl. Our home is quite rambunctious too and this little kitty tends to swipe a bit when she’s overwhelmed.

She’s house trained and uses a litter box. She’s been raised to live inside but she loves getting outside too and is a fantastic mouser. She’s not fixed but has been dewormed, which is a huge reason we try to keep her indoors. She’s free and comes with a kennel.

Just thought I’d post here before posting on other fb pages. I’d really like her to go to a good home as she is quite sweet. Maybe in a home who enjoys cats and doesn’t have little kids. She would happily curl up on your lap all afternoon and purr which is quite relaxing. It’s just that with so many little children under foot and in my own lap, I’m not really at that place in life right now.

In a riveting game of baseball, I broke my knee. Recovery time is looking uncertain due to the injury.

Maybe a 6-8 week healing period and then no idea what walking will look like after that for me.

Unfortunately I have to cancel our upcoming markets. My girls might try to do the Grovedale Christmas Market by themselves but we’ll let you all know as it gets closer.
