Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament Special Olympics Grande Prairie 1.0

A HUGE shout out and thank you to the Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament , which selected Special Olympics Grande Prairie as the recipient of their 2026 golf tournament this past summer.

Thank you to S/Sgt Brent Lawson, RCMP (President of the Archie Harvey Memorial Planning Committee), Brandi Hardy, GP Police Service (Treasurer of the Archie Harvey Memorial Planning Committee), along with the whole planning committee which consists of a group of individuals from the RCMP, GPPS and Western Alberta Victim Services.

Thank you to Ovintiv and RB Oilfield Hauling, who were the two signature sponsors for the event this year.

And thank you to local athletes; Brendan Mercer, Steven Bienderra and Doug Edey who accepted the donation cheque on behalf of Special Olympics Grande Prairie
