A few more memories…

I poured my heart and soul into my photography business for many years, and closing my 700‑square‑foot portrait studio south of Winnipeg was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. After going through a very difficult divorce I just couldn’t operate in that space anymore. Walking away from something I built with so much love was truly heartbreaking.

Over 2 years ago, I relocated to the Grand Beach area, and the peace I’ve found here has been healing. The nature that surrounds me has slowly helped me reconsider photography again. After all the trade shows, hundreds of weddings, and countless portrait sessions, it means so much that about 1,500 of you are still here following my page, even though I haven’t posted much in a long time. I’m genuinely grateful for every one of you.

So here’s a bit of my history, and hopefully the start of a new chapter. I might have to dust off my Nikons and see if I even remember how to use them, but at the very least I hope to share some beautiful shots of the landscapes, wildlife, and nature around the east beaches this year. I still dream of building a new studio out here someday… it might be years away, but who knows — maybe I’ll win the lottery.
