It’s hard to believe summer is already coming to an end! Somehow September snuck up on us while we were busy eating ice cream and pretending bedtime didn’t matter.

If you’re soaking up one last long weekend, come see us! We’re open 7 AM–5 PM all weekend, including Labour Day Monday. Stop by for coffee, wander downtown, enjoy the Salt Festival, and squeeze every last drop out of summer in Goderich.

We also have some VERY good news!

For the past 10 years, the Tuesday after Labour Day has marked the beginning of our annual three-day café closure. But this year, we’re changing things up!

We’ll be CLOSED Tuesday only, then back to our regular hours Wednesday and for the rest of the week.

After 10 years, we’ve finally decided that three days without you is simply too long.

Here’s to one last beautiful summer weekend, the start of a new season, and plenty of coffee to ease us all back into reality.

WE’RE HIRING ☕️🍳

We’re looking for baristas + cooks to join the Cait’s Café team, with full-time and part-time year-round positions available.

This is a busy café, and the right people for us are those who like to move, notice what needs doing, jump in without being asked, and take pride in doing things properly.

We’re looking for people who:
• Have experience in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
• Stay calm and productive when it gets busy
• Take initiative
• Care deeply about customer experience
• Support the team and our shared vision of Coffee. Community. Cuisine.
• Want to learn and get better

You’ll learn a ton about coffee, food, hospitality, teamwork, and what it takes to run a strong independent café.

Weekend availability is required.
Great tips. No late nights. We close at 5pm and are usually out by 6.

If you like a slower pace or waiting to be told what to do, this probably isn’t the job for you. If you love being busy, learning, and working with people who care about doing things well, we’d love to meet you.
