Our world just came to a full stop early this morning for Wendy and I after the huge loss of our dearest Oliver.
He was a rescue and has been in our lives for 13 years and passed at the age of almost 17.
Call me greedy but I could have used a lot more time with this gentle little soul.
When I say he went pretty much everywhere with us it wouldn’t be a lie.
He was our mascot, our copilot, our sounding board, our clown, but most of all our best little friend of all.
Never a dull moment, never.
Wendy and I will miss him forever.
There’s only one Oliver in a lifetime.
Sweet dreams little guy, love you to the moon and back.

This is much, much over do thank you to Alea for her amazingly well done, starfish ocean themed birthday cake that I special ordered from her. Alea didn’t just create the most magical cake visually the cake itself was delicious and decadent beyond words. If you look at her Instagram you will find so much more tantalizing images of her artistry.

So I was in the line up in SuperValu and these two lovely friends who also have worked with me were saying hello from across the hall from my store . Gosh, I’m gonna miss these moments. So much laughter over the past 7 years, so much.
