Event Decorator
Location: Fredericton, NB
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience starting at $21/ hr.

We are a growing event décor company specializing in weddings, corporate events, galas, social celebrations, and special occasions. We are passionate about creating beautiful, memorable experiences for our clients and are looking for a creative and hardworking Event Decorator to join our team.
Position Summary
The Event Decorator will be responsible for setting up, styling, and dismantling event décor for a variety of events. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and install event décor, including backdrops, draping, centerpieces, floral arrangements, balloon décor, signage, and specialty rentals.
Load, transport, and unload décor items safely and efficiently.
Follow event designs, floor plans, and client specifications.
Ensure all décor is installed professionally and on schedule.
Assist with event tear-down and inventory management.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse located in Beaverdam,NB (16 minutes past costco) and manage décor inventory.
Work collaboratively with team members, venues, vendors, and clients.
Troubleshoot and adapt to on-site challenges as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in event décor, wedding décor, floral design, or a related field is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working on ladders and standing for extended periods.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. Most events and weddings take place on Thursdays- Sundays therefore most shifts are weekends, and or evenings as well as occasional midnight tear downs.
