Due to the recent restrictions announced by the Government of Alberta, we regret to inform you that the remainder of our Glamping events for summer 2021 will be cancelled. Although this decision saddens us, we hope it helps keep fellow Albertans safe and healthy, along with our business and family.
We will be contacting remaining events to issue refunds.
We hope to be able to provide sleepover experiences again soon. Stay safe everyone 🤍✨⛺️

Hello friends! I thought it was time I introduce myself!
My name is Amanda Sowa; the face behind our glamping biz! My 1.5yr old (Connor) and my fiancé (Garnet) also help make the tents happen!
Some fun facts about me:
1. Camping is in my blood! I grew up camping and spending summers at my family’s lake lot. 🏕
2. My cousins and I would beg our parents to spend nights in our large tent, instead of inside our RV’s! And I was always the one who got stuck setting up the tent 💪🏻
3. I’m getting married in October! Planning a wedding and starting a business during COVID has only made me go slightly crazy 😜
4. I’ve always wanted my own little business! This idea fell in my lap and seemed like it was just meant to be! I was so excited about it that Happy Glamping YEG was born, up and running in less than 3 weeks! 😅
5. I spent the last 5 years working for a construction company in health and safety management. I left that role in the last few weeks to spend more time with my son and to pursue this business adventure! 👷🏼‍♀️
6. I love to decorate and make ‘cute’ spaces. Putting together new themes and setting up the perfect event space is my favourite part of this business! ✨
