Gluten-free vanilla cupcakes, available at the front till in the Keyano cafeteria!

Prepared on a double sanitized stainless steel table with sanitized, gluten free equipment, and freshly opened ingredients to avoid cross-contamination

As always, we must note though that our kitchen is not a gluten-free kitchen!

I have a question Fort McMurray, as I sit here enjoying a gluten free fried chicken sandwich, that my wonderful husband, also referred to as Chef Tim prepared.

If you are gluten free, or have gluten free loved ones, I want to know what food you/they miss being able to eat? Food that you can’t get gluten free around town, or have to spend time and energy making at home for yourself.

Mine is pancakes, I miss being able to go out to breakfast and get a big plate of pancakes.

So I’m curious if you or your loved ones could have anything made gluten free what would you choose?

Fueling conversations one coffee at a time​

We’re excited to share that Keyano College, Avenue Eatery & Cafe, Wild Rose Catering and Co., Juice and Coffee Cafe , Eagle Ridge Eatery & Cafe, and Drop House - Eatery and Coffee are joining our Sexual Violence Awareness Month initiative by handing out our custom “CONSENT IS HOT!” coffee sleeves with every purchase throughout May. ​

Whether someone is grabbing their morning coffee, meeting with friends, or taking a study break, these sleeves are helping bring visibility to conversations around respect, boundaries, and consent in spaces people visit every day. We are grateful to these local partners for helping spark conversations across our region and standing alongside community awareness initiatives throughout Sexual Violence Awareness Month.​

Tim had to call me before the dessert course so I wouldn’t freak out when he sent me pictures of my pavlova cut in half 😮
