Easily one of the warmest days we’ve seen in years across Southern Ontario!

Humidex values have soared well into the mid to upper 40s this afternoon, and in parts of the Greater Toronto Area, it’s feeling close to 50°C as of 5 PM.

Even without factoring in the humidity, actual temperatures are sitting solidly in the mid 30s, which is still extremely hot for the region.

We hope you’re finding ways to stay cool, hydrated and out of the sun if you can.

And don’t forget about your furry friends! If it’s hot for you, it’s even hotter for them. Make sure they have access to shade, fresh water and never leave them in a parked car - not even for a minute.
