The Mogul Smoker

The Mogul Smoker A celebration to praise Fernie’s own snow god ‘The Griz’ The Mogul Smoker has been going on for over 40 years, and like Fernie it has evolved with the times.

The mantra is still the same though, we are celebrating the start of a new winter by praising Griz for a good snow year. They used to burn skis, but now instead, we dance as an offering to the Griz.
