This was a very fun, midsummer week in the studio .. and I can’t recall which were designed by me.. and which by Brydie 🤔. But I do remember those stunning tables at our couples wedding!!

Would you prefer each table unique… or all the same? We personally love both… 🥰

For this hauntingly beautiful installation on the arbour we used our Eucalyptus, Willow Tree and Sweet Autumn Clematis to create the whimsical “hanging” aesthetic.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We never truly know ALL the ingredients we are going to use until “the week of” which makes it so rewarding for us.. and always magical for our couples. The clematis was simply perfect here.. and yet I hadn’t known the timing would be right on. Trusting us as your florist is 100% necessary and encouraged. We will always pour our hearts into your flowers 😘

Part way through our first year here, Poppy showed up quivering and scared. We took her in as our own.. and she has never left since. She is still allowed outdoors however NEVER crosses our boundary. She knows a good thing 😚

This brought our total to 3 cats. And I’m more of a dog person…. 😗

We’ve lived here now for 3.5 years.. which seems wild to me. When we first moved here I wanted to do it all!!! Not only wedding design but a full workshop line up, special order deliveries, yoga classes & retreats, our Airbnb business, along with markets and pop ups to connect with our new little community.

I quickly burnt out. I also discovered I didn’t want to run a big farm team.. it just wasn’t me. And so I scaled way back. We removed everything aside from our weddings and farm-stays… and very occasional workshops. And now I just focus in on what I love. Gardening and creating beautiful wedding designs.. and aside from the odd week when we need freelance help for large projects.. it is just my daughter and I working on this big & quiet farm 💕

Ok but we do need to hire garden maintenance/weeding for next season… 😗
