Coming soon with Lauren Marie in the St Andrew's Sanctuary Hall at the Enderby Hub!
• Two 6 Week Hatha Yoga Series starting Tuesday Sept 1st and Thursday Sept 3rd from 6-7:15pm
• Sound Bath Friday Sept 18th from 6-7pm

Text or call Lauren Marie at 250-803-2858 for more info or to book
Follow her at https://www.instagram.com/navayoga_sound

On Tuesdays, a 6-week Hatha Yoga series designed to build strength, mobility, and calm through steady breath and intentional movement. Each class offers mindful pacing, accessible postures, and space to reconnect with your body and nervous system. Suitable for all levels.

And new this fall on Thursdays, a 6-week Yang+Yin series exploring the balance between effort and surrender.

And after the success on the summer solstice, Lauren Marie is also offering a Sound Bath experience on Sept 18th (see poster in comments):
An hour to pause, soften, and simply be. Experience a deeply relaxing sound bath designed to give your body and mind a chance to slow down and reset.

Using the resonant tones and vibrations of crystal singing bowls, we’ll move into stillness, quiet the noise, and create space to breathe, rest, and reconnect with yourself. No experience needed. Just come as you are, get comfortable, and let the sound do the rest.

More about Lauren Marie:
"I am a yoga teacher offering grounded, accessible Hatha-based classes that support strength, mobility, and nervous system regulation through steady, functional movement.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2018 and have since completed over 700 hours of additional training in yoga and therapeutic modalities, including myofascial yoga, yin yoga, Thai yoga massage, therapeutic touch, hands-on assisting, and adjuster training.

My approach is structured, breath led, and alignment informed, with an emphasis on safety, clarity, and accessibility for all levels. I focus on helping students build resilience in the body while reducing tension and cultivating greater ease in movement and rest.

Alongside yoga, I offer sound bath experiences using a 9-piece crystal bowl set, supporting deep rest and regulation through vibrational sound.

I look forward to seeing you in class."

EACH would like to thank Lori and Steve Heins for their help at the Enderby Hub. In late May Lori donated and manned the birthday cake for the St Andrews 120th Birthday Bash, ensuring all our guests left with bellies full (and spirits and sugar high)! Steve then stepped up with his electrical expertise (Heins North Services) to diagnose and repair emergency exit signs throughout our building.

Their generosity truly helps non-profit community spaces like the Enderby Hub not only survive but thrive. Thank you Lori and Steve!

Juno Award winner Cara Luft in concert this Sunday Aug 2nd at 7 pm at the Enderby Hub - get your tickets in advance

Join Cara Luft and her fave fellas Clayton Parsons & Rob McLaren (aka The Millennial Dads) for an evening of joyous music, storytelling & connection. (https://caraluft.com)

Juno award winning singer-songwriter-musician Cara Luft is that rare artist steeped in folk and traditional roots music almost from birth, yet willing to alter the fabric, stretch the boundaries and fearlessly bend genres and styles. A founding member of Canadian folk super-group The Wailin' Jennys and the brainchild behind Winnipeg's acclaimed powerhouse duo The Small Glories, Luft deserves her solid reputation as one of Canada’s finest live performers, armed with amazing tenacity, vision, energy and a contagious hilarity. To quote the roots magazine No Depression, “Luft has a rich tradition in folk music – it’s safe to assume that she knows her stuff – and upon listening it becomes quite clear that she is indeed a formidable songwriter and performer.” (https://caraluft.com/videos)

A portion of the evening's proceeds are going towards the New Story Community, a supportive recovery program for Indigenous women who are walking a healing journey from both lived and intergenerational trauma and the substance misuse caused by this trauma. New Story operated for three years on Keats Island, BC and for two years in central Alberta. Founder and Executive Director Cheryl Buchanan recently relocated to Enderby and is in the process of establishing a New Story program in the North Okanagan.

Tickets are $30 ($32.35 including tax & fees) at https://caraluft.com/shows (with pay a little more and pay a little less options)
Show starts at 7 pm, doors open at 6:30

Cara lived in Vernon in the 1990s just as her musical career was beginning, so we are thrilled to welcome her back to the North Okanagan.
