It’s with mixed feelings that we have decided to close the store. We want to thank everyone for their support and for letting us be part of your happy moments of celebrations and the sad moments of loss. We enjoyed working with our suppliers and finding those quality flowers and unique gifts. Our lives are filled with other responsibilities that take up a lot of our time and we realized we have to take a step back and review how to proceed. So from the bottom of our hearts: THANK YOU!!!

5 More days till Christmas. Are you ready? I’m not asking if you managed to find all the groceries, present and decorations. I’m also not asking if you send out Christmas cards, organized your social calendar and outfits to wear. Are you ready to focus on Christ, our saviour, the true gift of Christmas. He came from heaven to save us all. He came to bring light, hope, peace and true joy!! Lets share that with everyone around us today and every day!!!

As we countdown in these dark days before Christmas, we can look at the joy that the message of Christ’s birth brought and brings. When the angels told the news to the shepherds in the field, they said they came to bring good news of great joy!! (Luke 2:10)
Our lives can be filled with struggles and worries but we should take the time to let this good news of great joy sink in. Let the true message of our saviour’s birth fill us with awe and wonder and find the true joy, the great joy of that message as it fills our hearts and lives today and every day!

As we continue our countdown to Christmas and consider the world around us. We see so much that can bring us joy but also lots that can make us feel sad, worried, lonely and hopeless. Christ came to this world in the midst of war and strife, sickness and poverty. He came to bring us peace. A peace you can feel deep within your heart even though life can be tough. Let’s share that peace with others today and every day as we point to the light of Christ that came in the darkness.

With the snow on the ground it’s starting to look a lot like……….. Christmas. The store has also been worked through to make room for Christmas decor and gifts. If you’re looking for a unique gift, beeswax candles or Christmas greens to decorate with feel free to stop by.
