Happy Fun Fact Friday!

Here are some fun facts about the African Spurred Tortoise (or Sulcata Tortoise). These are often the kind you’d see on social media, sometimes as pets, though they grow very big quickly and live for a very long time.

Do you know the difference between a turtle and a tortoise? Most biologists classify by whether or not they are mostly terrestrial (on land). Tortoises tend to stick to land, having feet that are better for digging and turtles tend to have webbed feet (but not always) and are built for aquatic habitats.

We’ve partnered with People Over Phones Incorporated to bring you weekly trivia nights every Monday starting at 7pm. Trivia veteran or just looking for a good excuse to get the crew together, this one’s for you.

Prizes up for grabs. Drop ins welcome but we recommend locking in a reservation. Seats fill up fast.

This Friday fun fact is killer 😉🔪

Did you know the 1960s film Psycho changed the movie-going experience? Its advertising campaign centred around a policy that you couldn’t enter the theatre after the start of the movie, which was an oddity back then. It allowed audience to be surprised and follow the story more linearly than some other films of the time. And now that’s just the expected way to go to movie theatres.
