Edmonton Bass Society Mission Statement
Edmonton Bass Society exists to create meaningful opportunities for developing artists while strengthening the local electronic music community.
We believe artists deserve more than stage time. They deserve honest opportunities, practical experience, and a clear understanding of how the industry works. Technical ability is only part of the journey. Professionalism, reliability, promotion, collaboration, and community are all essential to long-term success.
Our role is not to hold artists back or keep them dependent on our platform. Our role is to help them grow. When an artist outgrows what we can offer and moves on to larger stages, bigger audiences, or new opportunities, we consider that a success.
We are committed to building a culture where opportunities are earned, knowledge is shared, and the next generation is better prepared than the last. By investing in artists, supporting collaboration, and creating pathways for growth, we aim to strengthen not only individual careers but the Edmonton electronic music scene as a whole.
Our success is measured not only by the events we produce, but by the people who grow because they were part of them.
