siness owner…the list seemed to go on and on. When Joelle caught herself creating lists, storing past wedding stationary, and taking screenshots of backdrops and centrepieces, her passion for events became clear. She absolutely loves event planning because of the level of sophistication and organization it requires to run any kind of successful event. Joelle fully delved into the event industry in order to grasp where her personality fit best where she was fortunate enough to have worked with the Edmonton Marathon, FaBLOOMosity, KH Events & Decor, and Big Valley Jamboree. Being involved in several multifaceted events has reinforced her strong organizational skills which sparked her passion of sharing in one of life’s most memorable moments–weddings. Joelle became a wedding planner because she enjoys making authentic connections with her clients. It is through these connections which allow her to master each couple’s vision and bring that vision to life. She is genuinely passionate about pushing the boundaries and challenging the norm when it comes to decor, venues, ceremony locations, and entertainment, but, above all…she love’s love. Allowing herself to be silently drawn by the strange pull of what she truly loved placed her perfectly under the hat of a wedding planner. "I became a WPICC Certified Wedding Coordinator and in January of 2016 I started 'Hitched by Joelle'. My creativity is my product which evokes emotion, creates a design, and sculpts a wedding into a work of art. Every couple I work with brings about new ideas which I embrace wholeheartedly because lets be honest, who loves doing the same thing twice? Working with these couples, hearing their story and commitment to one another and then translating that into an experience is what makes my job so fulfilling. The uniqueness in each couples day and the level of joy it creates is what I live for. I feel so blessed to be continually inspired by love and look forward to the opportunity of working with you and your fiancé on creating an event so special the memories will last a lifetime.
