Make sure to tuck in those sharp ends! I have them sticking out on mine because of the sweater not suit jacket situation, but with a suit jacket they will tuck.

PRO TIP: it is easier to have someone else pin your boutonniere on for you!

Here it all is! I worked long and hard on the 2026 Mother's Day Collection 💜 Many things were taken into account while working on this - sustainability with the vintage tea cups and mason jar arrangements, modern & luxury with the peony bouquet and oversized vase arrangement, and even community by teaming up with another local business owner to bring something unique and exciting to the table this year!

The gorgeous cake was provided by who will be helping me fill that part of the Mother's Day orders this year! 😊

Hello wedding season - you've come early! Can you please tell spring it's time too? 😅

This is one I created back in January for a Valentine's Day wedding- out of respect for the couple I don't post until they've had a chance to walk the aisle and show their bouquets off themselves ❤️

I have a few more photos in my camera roll from the last few weeks, some are about ready to post, some are like this one, and have been made in advance of the wedding with silk florals.

We do still have availability for 2026 wedding season, with many last minute inquiries coming in. The sooner you inquire, the more likely your date is available!

Valentine's Day highlights....and some sad news.

I'd love to say things are always happy around here, and they usually are. I went quiet during Valentine's Day and after, I was grieving that adorable kitty you see in a few photos. He hung out for his last day on February 13th. I still had to come to work on February 14th. As a small business owner these are things we have to do sometimes.

Thank you for another amazing Valentine's Day and challenging me with some unique requests for your florals. We had so many pre-orders, we were blown away by the preparation! - and thank you for showing Batman so much love ❤️. Thank you to those who stopped to notice him, to ask why he didn't pop out to greet them even though the "guard kitty" sign was on the door. He was hanging out in a warm blanket.

I am so grateful to my employee, Becca, for taking care of the shop until today when I felt ready to come back. Thank you to the regular customers for their kind words and showing my little man so much love on his last day in the shop. Batman and I appreciate you all so much 🐈‍⬛️ ❤️

For those who don't already know, myself and my business support animal rescue, therefore, animals hold a special place in my heart. Batman had been with me since I was 17 years old. Thank you for taking the time to read this post, I will get back to my regular posting shortly.

8 years!

I opened my business at 20 years old with no idea how to run one, but I knew I had a love for flowers, pastel colors and everything pretty and glittery. I have come so far as a florist, a designer and a business owner.

When I look back I truly had no clue what I was doing, but had a lot of help along the way from family, friends, customers, employees and other business owners!

I am so proud of what Blooms by May has become, everything I have created, and even every mistake along the way. So grateful to everyone who has been along for the ride ❤️
