One year ago today, we celebrated the marriage of Elegant Earth's very own, Mikaila Petrov.

From the get go, Mikaila knew she wanted things to be fun and colorful; calling her wedding a Ukrainian Fiesta or a Mexican Zabava - mixing two very rich, vibrant and exciting cultures.
Having postponed the wedding twice due to Covid, and finally moving the venue altogether, at last it came together with some natural textures, rich colored linens and a few florals. Added on top was the playfulness of tassels, pom poms, ribbon and ambient lighting to this otherwise stark and plain shop on the family farm (the new venue). From a beautiful outdoor ceremony serenaded by the talented Marissa K Music . to an all out party with a performance by Vohon Ukrainian Dance Ensemble and live music by Euphoria Band, this was a one of a kind event.

Elegant Earth is happy to show you that it doesn't always have to be soft neutral tones where everything has a specific place.
It is ok to be different...if that's how you roll. 😉

Mikaila is not afraid of being bold and maybe a little over the top. Good thing she has found a partner to match and to maybe even tone her down a little.

25 Never looked so good.

This weekend we had the pleasure of setting up a charming Birthday picnic in the park. With the assistance and handy work of both parents, I think we made some real magic happen.

The custom made pallet table, which was free by the way, was brought to life with the soft pink fabric runner, fresh florals and playful place settings. The tent was also custom built. This allowed for some added privacy, but most importantly, a great spot for some photo ops. Don't you just love it!?

Something I personally have learned by being in this business...it does not need to be really expensive or overly complicated to make someone feel special.

Thank you for letting Elegant Earth play a small part in this memorable celebration.
