Yoga is back at the Lynnwood Community League - Edmonton, Alberta

Join me for Fall Yoga at Lynnwood Community Hall or on Zoom!
Classes start Tuesday, September 15th.

Lynnwood Community Hall is located at 15525 84 Avenue in Edmonton. Attend in-person or tune in online from the comfort of your own home. All levels and abilities are welcome, beginners too! Friday's class is chair-friendly, meaning you can participate from a chair, on a mat or both.

Schedule:
Tuesdays 10-11am, Yin Yoga, Sept. 15, 22, 29
Wednesdays 1130am-1230pm, Hatha Yoga, Sept. 16, 23, 30
Fridays 1-2pm, Chair-friendly Hatha Yoga, Sept. 18, 25, Oct. 2

Each September session is 3 classes in length. Pre-register and pay for the full session for $45 ($15/class) or drop in for $20/class. 5 and 10 class cards are also available at https://kpoweryoga.ca/shop/.

Classes will continue through to June 2027, possibly into the summer. Session dates for October will be released soon.

Bring your own mat. Props are not required, however you are welcome to bring anything that helps to support your practice. Dressing in layers is also advised.

As many of you know, our stunning new "Leaves of Lynnwood" mural is officially complete on the seacan by the community playground! Artist Natasha Lay generously donated her time, energy, and immense talent to bring this incredible project to life alongside our local Grade 6 students.
Now, you have a unique opportunity to bring the original inspiration into your own home or business—while giving back to Lynnwood!

"Leaves of Lynnwood" is a beautiful celebration of our neighbourhood, inspired by local leaves and insects collected right here in the community. Natasha is donating 50% of the sale proceeds directly back to the Lynnwood Community League! This means you will not only be purchasing a piece of art you will be sponsoring the Lynnwood community leagues next event and programming!

What a great event the Lynnwood Festival of Cultures turned out to be once again.

The organizing team led by Amie Buoy, Justin DuVal and others that worked behind the scenes. For all your time and effort getting the ball rolling and ensuring another successful event that highlighted the diversity of Lynnwood!

All the people who prepared food, spent time showing off your culture and demonstrating Lynnwood a fantastic place to live with delicious varieties of food!

All the sponsors that provided donations to make this possible PCS - Paul Collins Services TD Meadowlark Branch and Dovetail Cafe!

Everyone who took to the sky and got involved with the high flying Kites, what a sight to see in our fields!
