This weekend, I was privileged to join the Lynwood Community League for the grand opening of a new and truly accessible playground.

Parks are an integral part of Edmonton neighbourhoods, fostering spaces for play, connection and curiosity for children and youth in our city.

As one of the youngest and fastest-growing cities in Canada, we know that investments like these are vital to maintaining a vibrant and thriving city for the next generation. Because of this, I commend the Lynwood Community League for spearheading fundraising initiatives, as well as the many community members and funding partners who have made this dream a reality.

Come learn all about AI and what it means for you. Our local
Community Librarian will talk about what AI is, how we got here and
why it matters. She’ll also discuss the pros and cons of AI and give
you tips for using it wisely.

This class is FREE and designed for older adults.

Bring your smart phone or tablet if you have one as we’ll be using
them during the hands-on part of the class. The library will also bring
iPads for participants to use in class if you don’t have your own.

Lynnwood Community League is Hosting the Memberships Directors Community of Practice tomorrow June 9, 6:30pm - 8pm

Memberships is more than one person it takes a team!

Membership Directors or any board members! This is your chance to come together to share hard-earned knowledge, discuss methods that have worked to increase membership and help each other prepare for the Membership Drive and Community League Day in September. This is a whole board initiative, so send your best and brightest!

This is an in person opportunity to share with and learn from each other.

In this meeting we will discuss:

Tried and true ways to increase your membership numbers
Ways to overcome challenges that your League faces
Resources and tips
Meet and learn from the Membership Engagement Working Group, your representatives to the EFCL Board
