The City of Edmonton is conducting this survey with current Community League members, program participants and facility users to share their perspectives and inform recommendations for the future operating model of Community Leagues.

Community Leagues are volunteer, not-for-profit organizations formed to meet the unique needs and interests of residents within a defined geographic area.

In July 2026, a research survey was conducted through the Edmonton Insight Community to understand current usage patterns across the city. In this survey, we want to understand your preferences for future operations. Specifically, we want to explore how you currently interact with your local Community Leagues, which services and facilities you rely on most and where you see opportunities for the system to evolve.

This survey will take approximately 8–10 minutes to complete and will close on September 30 at 11:59 p.m.

Wow! 80 New Members and Counting!

Our community showed out in full force at the fall festival, and we are thrilled to announce that the Lynnwood Community League welcomed 80 new members in just one weekend! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to chat, connect, and join the league.

Our neighborhood is at its best when everyone is connected. Because of your incredible response, we are setting an exciting new target: reaching 250 memberships total by September 30th. Right now our total membership count is 159. Let's keep this amazing momentum going!

Why your membership matters:

Every single membership card we issue holds immense power. Our membership numbers show the City—our main funder—that community leagues are driving a massive positive impact and must continue to be funded. By signing up, you aren't just joining a club; you are actively protecting the vital funding that keeps our neighborhood programs and spaces running strong.

If you haven’t joined yet, or know a neighbor who hasn't, it is easier than ever to sign up before the end of the month:

• Free Option: Email our Membership Director, Dash, at [email protected] to register your household for free.

• Online Option: Sign up instantly via our online platform https://lynnwoodcommunity.com/membership/ for just $5.00.

Let's make Lynnwood stronger together. Help us hit our 250-member milestone by October!

Fall Festival 2026: What a fun day to be in Lynnwood! 🍂☀️

The Community League and Event Organizing Team were so glad to see so many friendly faces out enjoying another great day in our community. Yesterday was a huge success, and nobody can deny we made Lynnwood a better place!

To all of our amazing event volunteers: THANK YOU!

We have such an incredible pool of volunteers inside and out of our community. Thank you for bringing your spouses, children, and extended families out to lend a hand. You played a vital role and made all the months of behind-the-scenes preparation entirely worthwhile:

The Heavy Lifters: Our robust setup, tear-down, and cleanup teams, as well as the individuals keeping our space clean by emptying garbage cans.

The Front Lines: Everyone who took a position at a table selling sweets, corn, books, shirts, and hosting crafts.
The Grill & Bar Crew: Our fantastic cooks and bartenders who kept everyone fed and refreshed.

The Drop-In Helpers: All of you who didn't sign up ahead of time but stepped up right when we needed it most.

Our Bakers: Every single person who baked for the sale—with a special shout-out to the couple who dropped off several totes full of cookies and flan. What amazing neighbours you are!

Parents of Youth Volunteers: If your children volunteered and require volunteer hour confirmations, please message me directly for more information. Thank you for raising such fantastic little humans and future stewards of Lynnwood!

A Huge Thanks to Our Sponsors & Partners: This event wouldn't be possible without the generous support of our local partners. Please help us thank:

City of Edmonton - Local Government – For supporting our community with critical funding and games.

Telsco Security Systems – For bringing volunteers and providing hosting support.

Polyrhythm Brewing – For providing such a delicious and excellent variety of b**r!

H&W Produce – For providing the delicious corn so many of us enjoyed.

Bon Ton Bakery – For continuing to support our community with your incredibly generous cookie donations.

Thank you all for making yesterday unforgettable!
