Sympathy flowers don’t always have to be traditional white and green. While classic arrangements are timeless and elegant, adding colour can create something deeply personal and meaningful.

Soft pinks can represent love and gratitude. Blues can bring a sense of peace and calm. Yellows can honour a bright personality and celebrate a life filled with warmth and joy. Even vibrant seasonal blooms can tell a story and reflect the spirit of the person being remembered.

Funerals and celebrations of life are about honouring someone’s unique journey — and flowers can be part of that expression. Choosing colour doesn’t make an arrangement less respectful. In many cases, it makes it even more heartfelt.

There is no single “right” way to create sympathy flowers. The most important thing is that they feel genuine, comforting, and meaningful to the family receiving them.
