🛍️❤️ Shop in the heart. Carry the art. Support the heart of our city and snag a limited-edition, artist-designed tote from EAC Shop artist Natasia Makes when visiting the shop and participating retailers in downtown!

This Edmonton Downtown initiative celebrates the spirit of our local business community through the lens of Edmonton artist Natasia Makes. They've commissioned two limited edition totes that capture the different ways we experience the heart of the city.

▶️ How to get yours:
1️⃣ Visit EAC Shop & Services during our regular business hours.
2️⃣ Spend $35 or more on your purchase (excludes Taste of Edmonton pre-sale sheets and ticket-only purchases from EAC Shop performances).
3️⃣ Take home your choice of the two limited-edition totes!

Missed the Spring OddBird Art & Craft Fair this past weekend? You can find many of the local vendors from the market at EAC Shop & Services all year round!

You can find jewelry from Feathered Away and Smithstine Jewelry , t-shirts from Cosmodemonic Telegraph Co, and pottery from Cranky Ceramics, Kindred Pots and Material Culture Ceramics.

Prints from Blue Pine Press, JanXPencil, Nancy Nickolson, Nick Boss Ross Art, Snake Bite Creations and Zeph Mind line our walls. Stacked on our tables are soap bars from Yummy Me! and candles from Hideout Distro.

We connect you to local creators and makers, so you can re-stock on your favourites and discover someone new to you!

Thanks to those who stopped by our community table on Saturday to learn more about how the Edmonton Arts Council supports and promotes the arts in our city. We hope to see you all in shop soon!

The Arts & Retail Services Team is the public-facing service team for the Edmonton Arts Council. This Team provides retail services to support Edmonton’s diverse makers, presenters, and audiences. Creating an inclusive and welcoming retail experience, providing secure box office services and other professional support systems the team creates a community hub for the arts sector.

We are currently seeking a full-time and part-time Arts and Retail Services Associate who will be accountable for supporting all aspects of the retail and box office operations.

POSITION STATUS: Full-time, salaried
SALARY: Hiring range between $42,000 - $46,000

EAC Shop is the artistic hub in downtown to access the arts in Edmonton with space to hold exhibitions just like the one we celebrated in March with local artist Nancy Nickolson!

As part of Artbus, EAC Shop participated in the festivities with a meet and greet with Nancy who recently completed a large scale project with the Edmonton Arts Council in designing a tent for our community programming throughout the year. Using her signature bold, folk art style, Nancy incorporated local flora and fauna and recognizable landmarks into her designs. Each design was hand-painted by the artist herself over months and months before being digitized 🎨

You can see and purchase the original paintings now for a limited time at EAC Shop! Stop by next time you're in downtown 🏙️

Explore the creative side of Edmonton's downtown with a free ride on the ArtBus! 🎨 🚌

Hop off the ArtBus at EAC Shop on March 21 between 2-4PM and meet local artist Nancy Nickolson over some coffee, tea and cookies! Discover her work, learn more about her beautiful heirlooms, arts prints and the special one-of-a-kind tent designed for the Edmonton Arts Council. Free sticker sheets featuring Nancy's artwork for the tent will be available while supplies last!

A free, all-ages, one-day event, ArtBus takes riders across downtown Edmonton to visit 9 participating galleries and artist-run centres to experience art, engage in hands-on activities and shop local.
