We had an absolute blast celebrating my son’s 6th birthday. At his request he threw a dance party. Welcome to Club Slay All Day: The Birthday Edition! 🎈

We had a blast celebrating in the best way possible: playing, dancing to music, food, and spending time with friends—no particular order, just pure fun.

We transformed the playroom into a dance floor, moved the toys into the sunroom, and made full use of the backyard. (Now comes the fun part… unpacking about 90% of the toys I temporarily “relocated” 😂)

I think the balloons say it all - f**k cancer and everything that comes with it. The bell was rung to the last session of chemo and a surprise gathering was awaiting at the home with a couple of their close friends. Seeing love and support like that really warms the heart. Friends showing up for friends.

By popular demand, another Grab & Go garland.

My biggest fear happened, shipment was delayed due to weather. The #13 and starburst was supposed to be blue. Not getting my shipment in time I had to pivot and think fast. What goes with blue…ah, silver does. Have to say, I think this turned out better than the blue option.

Frequent question I get asked: what do you do with the balloons after.

Depending on the condition after a celebration it’s either a pop and toss, deflate and use the balloons again (those balloons are for my personal use when practicing something) OR create a standing or hanging garland like this
