Almost there! Tomorrow is the opening of 'Desire Lines' featuring the brand new work by Emily Cook, Jes Sachse and Tom Leonhardt. Kazumi will perform on Saturday evening at the Durham Town Hall.

Another busy festival day.

Edge Hill students started their school day at the gallery with a 90-minute long lesson in arts and disability. Exhibitions were explained by Terry Burns and Ilse Gassinger; conversations with our artists in residence, Jes Sachse and Kazumi Tsuruoka, were held in- and outdoors.

Join us for the opening of the festival on Saturday, September 7 at 2pm. Exhibiting artists Lorette C. Luzajic, David Bobier and Grahame Lynch will be present. Additionally, David Bobier will be presenting an Emoti-Chair Demonstration at 3pm.

From Sept. 7 to 29 the Durham Art Gallery is presenting the second Common Pulse Festival, a biennial event that began in Durham two years ago.
