Just a simple amount of White stems ordered to fill bud vases for a birthday. Of course, I had to add wildflowers from around my property but I also have some Siberian Iris, Bearded Iris, Solomon Seal and Anemone’s in here. It’s going to look gorgeous.

I’m officially in my soft girl gardening era.
My hair is a mess. No make up on.
There’s dirt on my hands and likely on my nose.
I smell of Earth and Flowers.
The house is a mess.
The gardens are gorgeous.
The dogs are basking in the sun.
You can find me in the gardens listening to the birds and watching the butterflies flitter about.
The Peonies are about to bloom and become the most glorious sight.

In love with another creation made from all ingredients Mother Nature has to offer. All these flowers I grew in my gardens chemical free, hand picked and dried to make this wreath. I just love these and they smell amazing naturally.
I’m taking orders for these or I’ll teach you how to make them in a workshop! You can book me for private events.

I’ve been on adventures lately discovering new to me Greenhouses that have the cutest vibes, a great selection of plants and has a cafe inside! Yesterday, I was at De Herdt Gardens in Barrhead with a friend and this place is worth the drive!
They have the most delicious sandwiches, coffee and desserts and the cutest inside patio! The selection of plants was amazing even this late in the season and the prices were incredible!
I ended up getting a bunch of berry bushes for my orchard including Blackberries, more Blueberries, a cross between a Cherry and a Plum, Kiwi, Strawberries (you can never have enough) and other things like Lilac and Tomatoes.
It was the perfect thing to do on a rainy day!
Have you been to that Greenhouse?!

This gorgeous girl is a beautiful surprise! When I started her from seed last year I did not expect her to over winter let alone in my greenhouse bed and be one of my first bloomers! She’s a zone 4 perennial and out here I feel I’m like a zone 2.5. I’m generally colder than in the city because I’m surrounded by trees which brings my temps down a bit.
So this beauty has my heart! She’s a showstopper that’s for sure! I’m glad I seeded lots more this year.
Any guesses as to what this variety is?

This wedding I designed for last year became more than just a design. Little did I know just how much this couple would mean to me later. From being invited to see the grounds, have a social beverage and genuinely start to get to know the bride and groom on the morning of delivery, to heartfelt check ins and lunch dates this past winter to a continued friendship this wedding means the world to me. It was more than flowers, even though I gushed over these designs; all the ruffles, pastels, vintage crystal is right up my alley!
Being your florist on your wedding day is an absolute gift that I hold dear to my heart. I love being part of your love story.
If you are looking for a florist for your wedding I would love to design for you.
I’m a farmer florist so if you get married during growing season I am able to add in my garden florals in addition to ordering any specifics you desire.

🌸 Just a little moment of magic tonight…
Nothing beats the simple pleasures from the garden after a long day. As the light softened this evening, I wandered through the beds and wild edges, gathering stems that caught my eye. This handpicked bouquet is a love letter to it all—vibrant, untamed, and full of soul.
It reminds me exactly why I started flower farming: to capture and share this wild beauty. Foraged from the wilderness and my own gardens, every bloom feels like a quiet celebration of nature’s generosity.
There’s something so grounding about holding a bundle like this—proof that joy grows right under our feet if we slow down and look. In here I have Lilac, Tulip, Iris, Lily of the Valley, Anemone, Scabiosa, Solomon Seal and Forget Me Not in a simple mason jar where it all started.
What’s a simple pleasure that’s been lighting up your world lately?

7 years ago I started this perennial bed as a backdrop for my wedding. At the time, I didn’t know much about perennials and actually what got me in to becoming a flower farmer was exactly this. The joy I experienced growing, creating beauty, tending to Mother Nature. Who knew that this little start became my entire world.
This bed started with Pansy, Lily and really nothing else. Now it has a huge list of beauty! Some of the things I grew from seed, some things are from my Grandmother, gifts from friends and years of purchases.
Building a cottage garden takes time, patience and money. Trust the process that one day it will fill out and be stunning!
What I wish I had in here were Peony’s but I have over 30 of those in another bed. This is one of 4 perennial beds I tend.
At the end of this video is how it looked when I started!
Here’s the list of plants I have in here perfect for zone 3:
Delphinium
Hosta
Day Lily
Lily
Lily of the Valley
Yarrow
Monk’s Hood
Siberian Iris
Ferns
Poppy
Lady’s Mantle from Grandma
Columbine
Walking Veronica
Poppy
Foxglove
Forget Me Not
Snow in Summer from Grandma

A little bit of my farm life story for you.
When I dived into the glamorous idea of becoming a flower farmer I knew right away I didn’t want a commercial farm.
I wanted a space that felt like your Grandma’s garden with cottage garden vibes, bird houses, bird baths, full of butterflies and bees.
A place you felt you could get lost in and find yourself.
To me, this looks wild, full, lush with imperfect flower beds and spots to sit to get out of the sun and enjoy company over a glass of tea, coffee, wine and cookies. It reminds me of all the quality time I spent with my Grandma in her gardens and how meaningful that was to me.
I also wanted a boutique farm small enough for me to manage myself organically. I wanted it small like this so I could really enjoy my gardens getting intimate with each space paying attention to every plant and how they are doing in their environment.
This also allows me the freedom to travel and enjoy life which brings me the biggest joy in life. I love travelling, beauty, wine, good food and spending it with people I love. This lights me up. I think what you chose to do in life should always bring you joy and allow you the freedom to enjoy your life away from work. I didn’t want to create so much work for myself that I never got to enjoy the 3 months of summer we get, my friends or live life to the fullest. It’s about balance which is why I’m currently on this beautiful trip enjoying Kelowna and the wineries with some of my besties.
So I’d love for you to spend time in my gardens this summer. I hope you come to enjoy the beauty, slow down, have meaningful visits, pick a bouquet, admire the flowers and relish in the beauty of imperfect gardens that feel good for your soul.
Sending you love now and always. See you in the gardens 🤗💕
