A little Whippet announcement 🐾💍

Our pub sign has put on its serious face, which can only mean one thing…

The Thirsty Whippet Pub will be closed on Saturday, June 6th while Lady Smith Manor hosts a wedding.

We’ll be back open on Sunday, June 7th from 12pm–8pm, ready with pints, pies, and the usual Whippet welcome.

Thank you for understanding — the Whippets have been told they are not allowed to object during the ceremony. ♥️

They’re back!!!!

Our Steak & Guinness Pies flew out faster than we could make them… and yes, they sold out before we could keep up.

But the good news? They’re back! 😍

Rich, hearty, and exactly the kind of comfort food worth coming in for, our Steak & Guinness Pies have returned to The Thirsty Whippet and are ready to be enjoyed once again.

If you missed them the first time, now’s your chance.

And if you already had one… you’ll understand why they disappeared so quickly.

Come hungry. They may not stay around for long.

Winston and Hendricks would like to remind you that Sunday Trivia is happening this Sunday, 19th April from 3–5 PM at The Thirsty Whippet. 🍺🐾

They suggest arriving with a team, a charged phone, and at least one person who is suspiciously good at random facts.

No paper. No pens. No excuses.

Just gather your cleverest companions, order something delicious, and prepare to compete for the only thing that really matters… pub quiz glory and bragging rights.

What a magical weekend it was ✨⚡️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Harry Potter Afternoon Tea last weekend.

We loved welcoming so many witches, wizards, and well-behaved muggles to the Manor for an afternoon filled with enchanting treats, magical details, and a little bit of mischief.

From Sorting Hat surprises to Golden Snitches, Owl Post letters, and a setting worthy of Hogwarts itself, it was an experience designed to delight witches, wizards, and well-behaved muggles alike.

The themed sweets, tea, photo moments, activities, and all the wonderful costumes made it such a joy to see everyone fully embrace the magic and make the weekend so special.

Thank you for spending part of your weekend with us and for bringing such a lovely atmosphere to the Manor.

We hope you left feeling as though you had stepped into another world for a little while.
