WOW WESTCOTT!!!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our summer fundraiser, Turf N Turf! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and helped make the event such a success.

A special thank you to all of our VIP table holders, silent and live auction donors, and pie-eating challenge participants. Your generosity, time, and enthusiasm helped make the evening truly memorable.

We are so fortunate to have such an amazing community supporting us.

**DYLAN "THE OX DRIVER" BOYER**

This is the kind of man who was built to move something heavy and make it look easy.

His last name comes from the old French for *ox driver* — the man who took the biggest, most stubborn beast on the farm and made it go exactly where he wanted, exactly as fast as he wanted. Some things run in the blood. Today, he's bringing that same relentless forward pressure to the pie table.

No sword. No shield. No hesitation. Just raw horsepower, a working man's hands, and a clock that has never once intimidated him.

He wires up autonomous machines in an open pit coal mine — his whole trade is teaching enormous things to move fast without flinching. He races triathlons with his wife, so he's *comfortable* being timed. He coached his son's team to a Central Alberta Hockey League championship, so he knows the only stat that matters is who finished first. And he's a drummer, which means the man carries a tempo in his chest.

Watch out, Wescott — because Dylan isn't just here to eat. He's here to drive straight through, crust to plate, and become the fastest man to conquer an entire pie.

MORGAN “EIGHT SECONDS” GRANT

Last year, Morgan approached the pie table thinking he knew what pressure felt like

Last year, Morgan came in third.

He has had 365 days to think about it. Every time his brain rattled from another saddle bronc fall, every time he stared at the ceiling nursing a concussion, one single thought echoed in the fog: The pie won.

Here is one thing you need to understand: Morgan is a rodeo guy with three kids, including a literal newborn. He is already drowning. His entire life is high-speed survival mode. Last year, in front of all those people, a dessert managed to kick his butt worse than his young sons.

You don’t walk away from that kind of humiliation. You ride straight back into it.

The spurs are sharp. The cowboy hat is secured. And Morgan has taken enough hits to the skull to genuinely believe this is a good idea.

Redemption tastes like pastry crumbs, mild head trauma, and absolute exhaustion. The cowboy is coming to collect.

SHAWN "THE SEA WARRIOR" MURPHY

Last year, the Sea Warrior charged the pie table with no sword, no shield, and no fear.
Last year, the Sea Warrior did not place.
He has had 365 days to think about it. Every board meeting, every hall booking, every time someone asked him to unlock the door — he's been standing in that room, staring at the spot where it happened, quietly plotting.
Because here's the thing you need to understand: Shawn is the President of Wescott Community Hall. This is his hall. These are his floors, his tables, his fundraiser. And last year, in front of his own people, a pie beat him.
You don't come back from that. You come back for that.
The name still means sea warrior. The sea does not get tired, the sea does not forget, and the sea has been building for a full calendar year.
Redemption tastes like blueberry. The Sea Warrior is coming to collect.

Hello Westcott! The board wants to send out a huge thank you to everyone that has already purchased their Turf N Turf tickets. This event is our big summer fundraiser and all proceeds go towards our roof project. The Wescott hall has been in dire need of some upgrades and we are confident that after this year's Turf N Turf we will be able to finally get the roof project completed! But this can't
