We made it home from a fantastic trip in time to be part of two fantastic graduation celebrations. We have served at the Acme and Beiseker grads for years and so appreciate the support. A huge shout out to these communities for the support and love they show their young people each year. Graduation is such a milestone in an entire families life. It really is the last celebration for parents with their “child”. Bittersweet in many ways. The difference between your grade 12 kid and your 19-yr-old kind of hurt my mom heart😩. It’s wonderful watching your kids move on but man the house gets quiet! Congrats to all the grads, their families and their teachers. Well done to all of you!

We recently added a new chicken option to our menu. And it is starting to catch on! Here are some pictures of our new Creamy Chicken with Spinach and Sundried Tomato. It is chicken breast meat tossed lightly in panko, paprika and Parmesan. The sauce has Dijon mustard, more Parmesan and paprika and so much cream it just has to be good. Toss in chopped sundried tomatoes and fresh spinach, pour over the chicken. Into a slow oven and in a few hours you have a wonderful chicken dish that is great with potatoes, rice or even pasta.

A very busy week for us! Huge congratulations - and “thank you” - to ACTS in Crossfield for hosting another successful dinner theatre weekend. This hard working community theatre group stage a 2-night dinner theatre that is always sold out! They write, direct and star in this very fun event. Thank you to the group for having us serve the dinner and dessert bar last year and again this year. We really appreciate it!

Bittersweet. We will truly miss this beautiful home. To be honest, catering is the main reason we are moving. We love everything about this layout and the amazing yard but it just isn’t designed to support the increase in Tane's Catering business. Someone will be very fortunate to have this great space to call home!

To ALL our summer brides! This is a picture of the amazing 1st anniversary cake created by Sheri at Busy Bee bakeshoppe for our daughter and son-in-law. If you are thinking about having your desserts created by one of the very best people around I cannot recommend her enough! I am constantly impressed with her work and her amazing customer service. And everything tastes as good as it looks👍👍.

We have enjoyed the fall season with some weddings, fall dinners and a few meetings. We are just entering the Xmas season now. We are working on improving our food labeling and trying to be prepared for some of the dietary restrictions so many people seem to struggle with. Congratulations to the hard working group of organizers for the annual Prairie Christian Academy fundraising dinner. It is a well supported evening with so many great sponsors who donate toward the auction and talented bakers who host a dessert auction.

And the hard work of students and staff from PCA make the evening much more enjoyable for all attending! Students provide table service and clearing and their staff come out and ensure the coffee is ready and the dessert is set out. It is such a wonderful community effort.

Tane’s Catering is honoured to be asked to serve at this event. We look forward to it every fall! I didn’t take any photos but the choices and menu were very nice and lots of fun to prepare and serve.

We have been having a wonderful summer enjoying the many graduations, weddings, anniversaries and other unique events we have been serving at.

And I promise I am much better at managing meals than my social media 😩😩.

Clients who book with us have a wide variety of options to choose from when setting their menu. I have tried to include pictures here of some menu choices that are not ordered as often so you have an idea of what they would look like! All our ingredients are purchased fresh, we have designed several of the dishes ourselves and the sauces and salad dressings are mainly house made! We take pride in ensuring the meals we serve are unique and the service we provide is professional! Thank you again for all the support we have received - it is so very appreciated!
