🌸A WEEK IN MY CAMERA ROLL AS A FLORIST 🌸

I’ve been loving these little weekly photo dumps - aka we’re in the madness of wedding season and I am terrible at keeping up in real time. Here’s a little peek at what we’ve been up to.

Cutie little garden bouquet while burning all the midnight oil in the shop.
Juicy flower pan.
Reflexed Play Balancas for a beautiful table spread at Farm at South Cove. They had 140 of these to line their tables - so pretty!
Ikebanas dancing in the AC.
Prepping more ikebanas and buds for a L&W wedding. Their tables had loads of mixed ceramics and I absolutely loved it.
I remember way back when I used to deliver our weddings in my ford fiesta. This was the 4th weekend in a row we’ve needed a box truck to move all the flowers around the province. Pinch me moment.
Setting all the tables at Farm and South Cove. Single varieties en masse is always a vibe.
Sleek calla bouquets for our L&W bride.
Stationery set that stopped me in my tracks - made by a family member of the bride.
James and Derek forever being the real T&T MVPS.
A pretty little set of ceremony urns in the Sunday sun before James hauled them up citadel hill.
Bouquets, pillars and bar arrangements - obsessed with the punch reds and pinks.

We’ve been busy little bees 🐝

I’ve got so much to share but just haven’t had the time {nor is the time approaching}. So while we are in the thick of it just know I am so thankful to be so busy + to be a part of all your beautiful celebrations 🤍 it means the world.

🌸 A WEEK IN MY CAMERA ROLL AS A FLORIST 🌸

1. Cutie little Bridal we sent out on Sunday for Micaela + Josh.
2. Cab full of dancy blooms from Lindsey at Vermeulen Farms.
3. An a la carte wedding all bundled up. I normally try and reuse any boxes sent to us in shipping - because sooo much waste. But I do love the way our bouquets are packaged all pretty for the bride to receive.
4. First garden haul of the summer. Floret Zinnias, my second year yarrow and some astilbe.
5. Post processing shop vibe. My fave time of day is when all the flowers are in their buckets + displayed and the sun shines in.
6. Dreamy lil phlox + zinnia duo.
7. Meadow of centerpieces.
8. Picking up cinder blocks pre-ceremony installation because I’ve you’re a florist who’s done a free standing arch at Fox Harbour, you for sure have wind PTSD and need to be prepared for allll of the elements. SPOILER - these cinderblocks were the VIP of the day.
9. Slayed the Arch in gusts of 40 KM. Pictures right before it was moved inside due to said wind LOL. but still looked sooo nice inside the venue!
10. Back the to shop to finish off our 4th wedding of the weekend.

All of the tulips and daffs we planted back in the fall are just about to really to take off in our raised beds and I can’t wait to see what treasures we’ve got this year 💞

Current obsession is pillar ceremony set ups. So universal, can be layered to be full or simple. Easily repurposed within the reception and the arrangements can be gifted once the night is over ~ chefs kiss 😘🍒
