Well everyone SavageFest2023 Homes For Heros Music Festival is in the books.
First, it is only appropriate we first post that we send our love and support to all those who were effected by the devastating tornado in the communities in and around Didsbury and Carstairs. The SavageFest Organizers send our thoughts and prayers.
I, Grant Straub and Brian Yorke the founders of SavageFest have a very lengthy thank you list. We hope to acknowledge everyone who supported this event but if we do miss someone we apologize.
We would like to start off by thanking the Mayor of Crossfield Kim Harris and the entire beautiful community of Crossfield. We are so honoured to have been able to bring SavageFest to your community.

Cheryl Shea for coordinating and bringing in the folks from Crossfield Farmers Market who also donated 100 percent vender fees to SavageFest.
Chantelle Devenney and her team of the Calgary Stampede who volunteer their time to bring in the Calgary Stampede Mobile Stage and to work such an incredably long day with little to no breaks. We thank you so much. This incredable support provided by the Calgary Stampede giving back to the community by providing this type of resource at no cost for events like SavageFest is absolutely increadable. Also, Michelle Doyle and Paul Toth both very good friends of mine volunteered to help out with stage management throughout this very long day....thank you so much.
Eva Kovats Hachey our raffle and prize coordinator along with Shauna Rivait, Michelle Fletcher, Michelle Boyle, Sharon O'Reilly the incredible job they did. All the various businesses, organizations and people such as Long and Mcquade music centre who has supported SavageFest by donating a guitar each year for the raffle. Thank you to all those who donated prizes for the raffle. The raffle was a huge success this year.
Shelley Miller and all her volunteers from Westjet who helped out with serving the pancake breakfast. Such amazing generous people.

My dear friend Mr. Brian Yorke...well what can I say. Another person I don't have enough space to talk about. He has stood by me from day 1 with my crazy vision weather he agreed or not to help make SavageFest a reality and did everything I asked of him and more. We share our love of music together. Another person I am proud to call my brother.
And finally my family for standing by me while I take this journey. The many hours they have stood by watching me typing, planning, texting etc etc etc while at home planning SavageFest . It takes a toll. I love you all.
A whole year of planning, building relationships and friendships to bring SavageFest to Crossfield.
To all my SavageFest family thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And of course all who attended SavageFest4 thank you so much for your support and we hope you had a great time. Please continue to support SavageFest by coming back each year and spread the word however you can. We want to continue to support Homes for Heros and all our Veterans.
