Hi! The next Dive Bar is at Lola’s this Saturday! All vinyl all night. I got some nice DM’s about my playlist I shared yesterday. Thanks! As one of Cornwall’s last two vinyl-only DJs, I make Spotify playlists of what I find when I go hunting for 7” records. A lot of the songs eventually make it onto my turntables for my Dive Bar nights at Lola’s. This playlist is from a bunch of 45’s I scored at a small record store in Gatineau earlier this month. Great Dive Bar at Lola’s last night! I took some of my earnings from Expozine in Montreal and went to Brockville today to a great local record store, Grizzly's Records. I had already pulled forty awesome 7” records out of here the last time I was there a couple of months ago, but with no new additions since then, I still scored almost twenty more! I love the tote they gave me, and ha that rainbow RCA cover is sweet, I’ve never seen that design before! Hey, I now make playlists on Spotify of my digs, if I score more than a dozen. WOW. Absolutely clean and pristine French version of Stop In The Name Of Love, by Marthe Fleurant. Just listened to it two times in a row. I really love learning about vintage Quebec 45’s, and I’m grateful to live in an area full of them ♥️🖤

Well I’m back from tour with my old band, and we had a great time. I knew I was coming back with Saturday Nov. 9 booked for Dive Bar at Lola’s though. I’ve been excited to pick up a 2’ x 4’ banner I got made at Staples (under $50!!!), it looks super sweet, and a package sent in the mail with a whack of 7” Dive Bar custom printed yellow adapters. Everything looks awesome, you’ll see it all on Saturday. I just sorted a few hundred classic rock 45’s, to put together a small box of 75 Daytime Dive Bar tracks, because soon I’ll do a few Sunday afternoons at Lola’s, 3-7. I won’t blast away with ultimate super bangers all day like I do on Saturday nights lol, i can play Margaritaville for a change 🍹♥️
